I'm in, and off to actually finished the whole 1st season!!!

everyone knows the deal... so here is my team

This was my first cup exit...

I was worried about getting thrashed by Nantes...

in the earlier cup stages, i had been playing very good

League Cup Prem Round Vs Martigues - 3:0
French Cup 7th Round Vs Brive-la-Galliade - 3:0
League Cup 1st Round Vs Ajaccio (1st Div club) 5:0
French Cup 8th Round VS Saint-Ettenne 5:0
French Cup 9th Round Vs Montauban 3:0

But in this game i was robbed!!!! Sterjovski scored a great goal latching on to a through ball only to see Nflore get called for offside (What ever happend to passive offside linesman!!!!... plus Nflore hit the post once... and then i conceeded a goal in a rare Nantes attack...

This was my 2nd Cup exit... again, i was worried about losing by a lot against Marseille...

To be honest though, Marseille had a shocking season this 1st year, they were in the relegation zone for ages, but coming into this match they'd won 5 and drawn 1.... so they were in hot form...

my team on the other hand had lost a easy league game, (i lost both league games before major Cup games (i lost a league game before the Nantes match... i'm not sure why, i sent the same team out... maybe their minds were on other things)

... Anyway, with a team crippled by injury to the midfield and attack... and probably lacking the skill and quality to beat Marseille... i thought i'd try something Marseille wouldn't expect...

Tajjani Babangida to play centre midfield !!!!

... almost worked also...

THIS WAS A SEMI-FINAL BTW... i'm not sure if a spot in Europe was at stake or not... but it was still a big game for my club...

After that Semi-Final loss my team played complely ****e...

i'm not sure whether they were on their last legs (due to injurys to key players in midfield) or otherwise... but after this semi-final loss they played terrible... even worse than their early season form... (which i blame partly on myself...)

You see, when i first took over the club, i wasn't really happy with some of the physical aspects of the team, so i gae them a lot of sprints etc...

i had quite a few bad results... but stuck with the training 'cause i knew it might pay-off later...

after one too many bad reults, i changed the training around...changed my defensive formation to include a sweeper... and changed our results around....

The result was that i became champion...

but i'm still angry and dissapointed in how my team finished off the season...

i mean, i think i lost to a team who the bookies had odds of: -

30-1 Them.... 11:2 Draw...... 1-20 Cannes (fav)

i mean, 1, who the hell offers those sort of odds.... and 2, who loses with those kind of odds there....

who knows what to do next... i might just have to sack half the team to give them a shake up for the next season

BTW : - Mile Sterjovski got National player of the year
Tajjani Babangida, Sterjovski, and Phillipe Mexes were all named in the team of the year, with Mark Bosnich named on the bench...
