Speeding up saving on FM2005?

Just tried it...although there wasn't a big improvement, saving was quicker but this is probably because I'm only a couple of seasons in, so there weren't that many highlights to delete (it reduced the save file by 13M.

Eh, how do I use it?

After I have unzipped it, I get 2 files (FMSaveCleaner and FMSaveCleaner.exe.manifest). When I open FMSaveCleaner I get this message: Access violation at adress 004534C8 in module 'FMSaveCleaner.exe'. Read of adress FFFFFFFF?

Not really sure why you're getting an error.

I just extracted both files, opened the application and then clicked on the 'Start to clean' button. This opened a browse files box and from there I selected my save game file

After I get that error message the program starts up and I get the same as you, but after Searching START/END of pk.files, XX% I get another error: PKS files not found. Can not clean!

yeh i remeber this tool, it helped alot for me cause i used to run on 125mb, all it does it get rid of the history stuff, so like when you load the game you won't be able to watch matches you had played the last time you ran the savegame

just used it, cleared over 20mb... does it help to load faster as well? I'm in 2014 with Rimini, and EVERYTHING is pretty slow

it will help slightly yeah Rony, probably take a 20% of the time off saving that you're used to.
