I begin playing, and after a while the whole sound just goes mute, everything, music, fx, commentary, and it only happen in fifa 2005, what can i do?

'm having the exact same problem
funny thing is that when i use headphones the sound works
how about a one on one game though?
share the headphones???!??!?

i contacted the guys in ea and their response
was how to uninstall the game
not a word about solving this issue

any suggestions more than welcome

i have to notice that this problem occured about a week after
i played the game with no sound issues

I solved the problem reformating my pc, and reinstalling the game, no problerm afterward
