Some solution to the lag of the FIFA 2011?

Hi
I have proved the FIFA 2011 (full version) and I have taken a disappointment to me. The game has an excellent graphical quality but in spite of having proved all the possible configurations, the game presents a marked level of delay or lag in the game doing that is not fluid.
I want to know if this someone being employed at the solution of this problem???.
My specifications are:
Intell Corel 2 Duo
RAM DDRIII 3Gb
Ge Force GTX 470 (1280 M
Windows XP

what i would do is close all unecessary programs like utorrent, messenger, deamon tools, ares etc and then run the game when the game is up enter task manager go to processes amd look for fifa, right click and set priority to normal or above normal. it stops the lag for me in the gameplay but there's still some lag at cut scenes

amd athlon 64 2.4ghz

its awful, looking at your specs - its good enough to boost any sophisticated games. maybe its really a bug from easports

another solution, may i suggest, is iCrowds. When you remove crowds from FIFA 11, it is really smooth

Haha wtf??? This is turning into a dumb witch hunt, where does he state he's pirating games.

How is utorrent and Daemon tools illegal? They are completely legal and sanctioned programs, do you see the FCC shutting them down?

ASUS for example has a torrent server to provide updates or downloads for their new drivers and bios, utorrent can be used to download these.

Daemon tools can be used to mount a disk image of your games, I do this so they don't get scratched or wore and its completely legal because it doesn't compromise the security of the application (like a crack would be illegal) and I do not share my disk image.

In the wrong hands they can be used for illegal acts, but so can cars/guns/tabacco/alcohol are you gonna go purging the forum for those too?

Thank you for your answer, but I have proved everything indicated in the site "optimization" and nothing has happened

1) To go to the BIOS (I have tried it to find but the menu "chipset" is different from the commented one for you in the site)
2) I have defragmented the game, but they follow the lags equally in the game
3) I have updated the driver of the Ge Force (258.96), and have the last version of direck X. and everything is still equal...

Finally I have tried to change many forms the configuration of the control panel (NVIDIA) and of the game but nothing happens.
If it uses you as help, the major lag I see it in game and not in the repetitions or cinemastic.
Me believe what I say to you. I thought that the problem was my video card, and for it I have updated it, buying better than in the shop.
Here in Argentina one the Ge Force 470 costs u$s 700.
Imagine the aggrieved thing that I am since my investment has not worked!!!!!

Not about which there treats itself what they say, but it thinks that my game is original!!!
With regard to the lag, in the FIFA 2009 I remember you did a so called " high performance pach " that I repair the same problem in this year.
Your you are the key of this problem!!!! There exists the possibility of throwing it " high Performance 2011????

I spend my specifications of the system to you and say to me that lacking him in order that the game works:

1. u prolly pirate the game.
2. fyi, your cpu bottleneck the whole system especially your gfx card

The thing that jumps out to me is the CPU. Your processor seems to be the bottleneck as the person above me stated. Your GPU is fine and the gtx 470 is a very good card. Another thought is heat. The 470 produces a lot of heat, you can try removing the side pannel of your case and see if the game speed improves - you can even point a small room fan into the the open case too. If it responds better without the side pannel and with a fan, then you need to get a better cooling solution.

Leave me to understand your advice. You say that I must change the Intel Core 2 of 1,80 Ghz into other one of major speed.

I downloaded the latest nVidia beta patch "260.89" and lag decreased markedly!

This "lag" you speak about in Fifa 2011 is related to your system and not the game. I have a GTX 465 and the game never slows or lags. I recommend installing the newest Nvidia beta or official driver and possibly reinstalling Windows if that does not fix the problem. I find it very disappointing when people complain about a game but have not taken the right steps to fix the issue on their end.

I do not want to be heedless, but I ask you to look around you in infinity of forums and you were observing that the game presents many problems of optimization and abrupt cuts in the manager's modality and other too.
I ask you walk a bit along the rest of the forum and that of EA's pages also _!!!

Do I think that not all the persons can have similar problems, not???

I wouldn't be that sure about that.

My previous machine was a Pentium D 3.4GHz / GF8600GT, pretty able to run FIFA09 or even FIFA10 at somewhat high detail levels, with resolution of 1280x1024.

It could run FIFA07 at maximum details with "both hands tied".

But there was no way to run FIFA08 with that machine. It was lagged to hell, even at 640x480, low detail, everything off.

The game seemed to be incompatible with that machine, due some evil bug. I believe it could happen again with some EA game (to be "incompatible" with some configurations).

And about the cpu being a bottleneck, it is, at least, hard to find any benchmark test pointing to that direction.

I remember of a benchmark test showing that anything better than a Pentium 4 1GHz would be able to run COD: Modern Warfare 2, @Full-HD with every setting to maximum quality, with the proper video card.

Maybe the "solution" for all the lag problems is simply to wait for a fix from EA (that may never come).

Just for the record, I have a Core2Quad 2.66/GF GTS250, and I'm having some real lags only in replays; the gameplay is always fine.
