As for Sol, well in all honesty he's not alone - all footballers make rediculous amounts of money, but at the end of the day I guess I would rather see the players get the money rather than the owners hog all of it.

a-shearer: that is the way football has become, but even 80,000 pounds is even high in today's football world.

Reports say Eriksson encouraged Campbell, but he denies the allegations. Anyway I think Campbell used the money demands as an excuse to leave the club.
