Abidal? **** no, he's good, but don't let the Barca halo or cancer sympathy warp your vision, he's not in the top 5 in the world, LB is still Barca's weak link.

Evra is the 2nd best LB in the world, IMO, but is more suspect at the back than Cole and tends to get stuck on the edge of the area because he doesn't have as much vision. By stuck I mean that he just dribbles forward and then he and another player keep passing it around until they find space, he doesn't think ahead enough.

Yes, you're excellent at watching one match and thinking it reflects entirely on the player. Valencia has always been Cole's weak point, because he is much stronger and his dribbling style makes good use of it. But other than that, Cole is a fantastic full-back and without a doubt the best left-back in the world, for now.

You would think the best LB in the world would do better with Valencia. Abidal did, I guess it must be the Barca halo... Its no coincidence we had the best defense in La Liga and Abidal was a big reason why.

I guess you could argue Chelsea as a team weren't good this year, but let's call Chelsea what it is, a club who has spent 1bn and only 3 Epl titles to show. Stop talking of Chelsea like they are a Europe elite they don't have the best anything.

I think Abidal did his best performance last year for Barca, he's among top 5 for sure.

Good comment about Evra. He should improve his vision and passing in attacks.
