Jesus is a cocky mother****er but in the end a good coach.
I see him either putting Benfica back on their feet or being an absolute disaster, let's wait and see...

That too, I see the potential on him but I'm curious to see how he adapts to the responsability of handling a bigger club.
He surely did a good job at both Braga and Belenenses where he had minimum pressure compared to what he's about to face now, and that's where his personality plays a major part: the way he handles the press, the supporters and the board in case results don't show up as expected.
And we both know that coaches in Benfica don't usually last much, stability is a word you've crossed from your dictionary a long time ago...I believe a new president (hell, why not Rui Costa? there is no doubt about his love for Benfica and he's a respectful, integrate person) is definitely in order for you to move on once and for all, since LFV is a cronical joke and I don't see you going nowhere soon with him at the helm...unless Jesus becomes a legend (NPI) and saves your asses.

I would love to see Rui Costa as Benfica president.. Vieira did indeed help the club (especially its finances) but we need a new president, a new cicle.

Though, that's probably not gonna happen anytime soon, LFV is gonna win almost for sure..:rolleyes:

Great, great defender, from what I saw of him so far. FC Porto just did Benfica a great favour when they "stole" Alvaro Pereira, because Shaffer is outstanding!

Also, I sure as hell hope Benfica goes looking for either Néné (Nacional), or Diego Buonanotte (River Plate). And they're looking for Grémio's wonderful goalkeeper.

It's looking good, but you never know, with the constant change of managers, and an election for a new president at the door. Let's hope Jorge Jesus stays for a few years.
