Why would you want to do that? This year its worth connecting to EA servers,due to Football Club and all.
But being a web programmer, your question whetted my curiosity.So i sat down with my tools and 10 mins later i found out the answer for you
If you still want to do it.This is how to do it.
open the file
CWindows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
You will have to open the file in notepad.
enter the following lines after the last line in the file

127.0.0.1 ci-main.loginregistration.eadm.ea.com
127.0.0.1 motd.dm.origin.com
127.0.0.1 store.origin.com
127.0.0.1 drh.img.digitalriver.com
127.0.0.1 drh2.img.digitalriver.com
127.0.0.1 drh1.img.digitalriver.com
127.0.0.1 eaeacom.112.2o7.net
127.0.0.1 b.scorecardresearch.com
127.0.0.1 heartbeat.dm.origin.com
127.0.0.1 web.dm.origin.com
127.0.0.1 loginregistration.dm.origin.com
127.0.0.1 friends.dm.origin.com:443
127.0.0.1 avatar.dm.origin.com:443
127.0.0.1 ecommerce.dm.origin.com

The lines in Green will stop your connection to Origin.So you can start Fifa without connecting to Origin.
The lines in red will stop Fifa from communicating to EA servers.
You can use one or both.Depends upon you.

after i edited the host file when i opened the game it works but freez in license page and when i deleted it it still freez can you help?
(be informed that i have the fidal patch for fast startup)

it says not allowed save in this folder..it asks me to

look its easy when you edit the file don't save it just close the file when it closed there will apear a messege say do you want to save click yes
and that will be saved

You might need Administrator privileges for that since it is a system folder.
Are you on win 7 or xp?Try logging thru Admin if u r still having issues.

- drag it in ur desktop,
- Paste those codes,
- Save as.

Then put it back in the folder!

i tried everything..not working
cus even i graped the Hosts file to Disktop
and i paste the codes after the last line
then quit to save ..i saved on the Hosts and it sayas
Denied ..not allowed..

what to do?

it just save as text !!!

step 1
download the below file

extract on desktop
step 3
add registry file
step 4
go to c:/windows/systems32/drivers/etc/
step 5
you can see host file
then right click on it you will see like this

just click on take ownership
thats it
now u can save it without any peoblem

I have not the host file, just "network", "protocol", "services" and "lmhosts.sam", maybe since I reinstalled windows because the file is in "windows (old)/windows/system 32/drivers/etc

is that how it's supposed to look after copy-pasting of the code? my fifa 12 still tried to access origin even though I have copied those lines. any other suggestions? or will this code not work with the original version of the game?
