in the user cp section, the signiure box has variours words next to it one of which is

 on mine it is switched off how do i switch it on so i can use my sig. thaxs

U can't switch it on, only admins can. But u don't need html to put ur siggie up. Just type thing without the * into the user cp. [IMG*]URL[/IMG*]
