Sorry if I seem disappointed, but in stead of putting everything they have into making a good game, Eidos decide it's best to make 3 different ones.

Yes, they do have different studios doing each one, but they're creating an overflow of Championship Manager into the media, when their main product is not even close to good enough to carry the start of the other two...

Anyway, what I'm on about is the news posted 3 days ago on the www.championshipmanager.co.uk site:

Championship Manager 5 Scores On Mobile!
By Keir Edmonds, 31/05/2005

Championship Manager, the world’s No.1 selling football management series, is to make its mobile phone debut following a deal signed between Eidos and mobile games developer Dynamo Games. Dynamo Games is developing Championship Manager 5 Solo for Java-enabled mobile phones. Information on network providers and release date will be announced shortly.

Championship Manager 5 Solo will enable aspiring managers to experience the highs and lows of football management wherever they are. Choose a club and attempt to guide it to glory dealing with everything from transfers and tactics to scouting and the media.

Simon Protheroe, Eidos’ director of new media and online technologies, says:
“This deal represents a great opportunity to make Championship Manager a constant part of every football fans’ life. Dynamo Games has done a great job developing what will be the perfect complement to the PC and console versions of Championship Manager 5.”

Stuart Anderson, development director at Dynamo Games, says:
“As massive fans of Championship Manager, we are extremely excited about working with Eidos in bringing the game to mobile phones. Our main focus has been to ensure that the Championship Manager 5 Solo experience will be very familiar to existing fans of the series.”

Right, CM on a mobile phone - no way.
