Some of you guys really have no idea how much work it is to organize this (even more by myself), especially after the competition starts with the scores and shit.

We do it the way it's been planned all along and if you wish this to work differently you can and should take the initiative to start a Draft yourselves with different rules in the future. I remember us discussing thoroughly how this would work back in 2014 and in the end it was agreed to be done this way. It's not a perfect system but it's the one that's realisticly possible for me to handle and work with.

The rules are pretty clear so I suggest you stop asking to change stuff because it's not going to happen. Of course, whoever disagrees with this can always suck my dick.

Massive how serious does the injury have to be, do they have to be ruled out for the tournament?

Not necessarily, but they have to be declared unfit to play their next match.
Then one can decide if it's worth waiting for the player's recovery or not. Of course burning a sub for a guy who has a minor injury and should return soon would be stupid, so subs should be handled carefully.

The shit thing about this format is that, for instance, Khedira might not start but he will go further in the comp than Sahin. I had ti grt Khedira earlier or he would have been pickes but I would prefer to start Sahin. I have both and they play the same position but I just have to suck it up.
