But why is it only 2.4 mb? I looked around the uploader's filefront page and there were no bigger files..is that just a fix?

You know I tried this small patch. It has everything you need to start with: all rosters, including minifaces, formations and ball. Missing: kits, logos, GUIs, trophy and tournament. If you decide to give it a go, backup your db first. Good luck! Waiting for Northern Ireland and Wales.

I posted some instructions for adding a new league to the compilation patch to the first page.

I'm back in school and dealing with quite a bit at home so it doesn't look like I'll be able to commit a ton of time to the patch. The nice thing is that with so much help any of you can create the next version of the CP and others can just build on it from there.

If anyone can pick a league, get permission and follow the instructions on the front page to import it correctly, we can all work together to get these patches released and I could really use the help.

I found a couple minor problems with the two CP patches previously released. I think it's just me figuring out what I'm doing. Hopefully the Russian League release will clear up any previous problems

Just released Russian Premier League which is Version 3 of the CP. THanks Complex 1. I built a new UEFA Champions League tournament and there are some minor problems associated with that. You may see the same team in the tournament twice. Again, this is to allow us to expand on it rather than having to build a new tournament every time.

Ok I found a problem with the last release... Basically none of the new teams have any graphics! I'm still learning EXE patches but the very important thing is the database. Please download this CMP file to fix the graphics.

I'm interested in broadening what we're doing with the compilation patch. I would like it to include 4 things.

More world wide leagues
National teams
Classic National teams
Youth national teams

I'm interested in converting my 1930 and 1934 patches, creating the tournament and releasing that along with the other work we've done with these teams in the "World League" I also was interesting in creating the 2006 or 2002 world cups in a similar manner.

National teams can be added as we go. As can clubs.

Youth national teams could be done ahead of the Youth world cup. These could also be added to either "My League" or more likely, the World League.

Any thoughts?

Sorry for any delay's by the way. I'm coming up on finals at school. I've been playing our compilation patch when I have time and working out a couple of small bugs I've found with it. Now it seems to be working well and I've completed at least 6 seasons (mostly simulation). I'm very happy with it so far. I'll release the updates when I can.
