ONe thing is sure, the commentary is painfully painfully painfully the same garbage

Sod commentary, man. People who whinge about commentary are grade-A pricks.

"Oh, of all the things to pick on in this game, I go for commentary! How ever will I live without Andy Gray's 'TEK A BOOOO, SAWN!'."

Bloody hell, man. The pace and feel of the game comes above that.

It is such a shame.

I can't see why they wouldn't be able to include fully customizable leagues and cups and play modes with complete fantasy teams (perhaps even randomly generated).
This would allow everyone to later edit the whole european leagues with correct sizes, champions league/UEFA cup/anything else they wanted into the game.

Strangely, no one wonders why they always have time to completely change the filesystem and encoding (so names and jerseys can't be modded instantly..) and never have time to add any new features to the league system.

I dont buy the whole, "we are so upset, because we had to remove the slots for the german league" story. I don't see why it would be necessary to have a limited number of team-slots anyway. You can already add players, why can't you add teams and let them play in a league that you created? It is not like this would be difficult to code. Also it is obvious that this would exactly fit the customers demands, (namely allowing them to play real leagues..) so I very strongly doubt that konami just did not have the idea.

They create a game that is somehow like smoking, always leaving one unsatisfied after enjoyment, thus making it so perfectly addictive.

This way there is more potential to squeeze money from the fans.

Oh no, Mr.Seabass, of course you are yourself angry that those bad, bad people forced you to remove some team-slots, of course you just did not have the time to program a league editor or even a full editor for xbox360. of course this will probably all come in the next version of pes. Of course, there is a good chance that next year your crew will have a few days left for this, right after they finished all the new anti-customization coding perhaps?

This is as polluted as politics.

So lets all smile as PES once again gets re-elected, lacking any solid alternative. Hooray!
Yes, I will definitely vote ..erm buy it the day it comes out.

Hopefully someone will be able to finally code a full league-server, i.e. a 3rd party program that has all the league statistics, player names etc.. and only uses the PES game-engine for playing the matches. I remember talking to someone who planned on doing something like that back in pes3/pes4 days, but he obviously did not pull it off..

I'm just sick of this perpetual licensing/konami sellout mess. If the damn gameplay just wasn't so brilliant...

After all it is myself who is the real Seabass.. caught in the net along with thousands of others, with this bloody footie-game as bait.
And here I reveal the whole Secret of PES6: * psst! They've got your ass, too! *

PS: And if this wasn't funny enough, this year they don't even release a pc demo i can extend...

Im a really PES fan since years, but i can believe this situation. Is not the game itself, is only a game, but yes about how this man talks about this, and that, with this actitude....like.....pffff...eupeans....pfff....yankees.....you know.
This interview is weird. How the hell Seabass can say this things?? Is like:

Interviewer: Well, there´s no Bundesliga this year...what´s up??
Seabass: No problem, we will do for next year....
Interviewer: Well, graphics are not so good at the expectations...what´s up??
Seabass: No problem, we will do for next year...

etc...etc...

I cannot believe that this called "master" man, can say that. Next year? Next version?...man...we had waiting for a long 1 year, there´s no excuses about this point. Licenses? Well, i think that other companies work hard on it...why dont you do the same instead of to put extrange names during 3 or 4 years, each pes.... Chamartin?? Blue London what?? please......... this is not very serious. Are you sure that you had feedback about us, the consumers, the people that dedicates his time on the edition for to make it better than the same company???

Xbox360 programation, very complicated???, ahem, what´s your work man???

Graphics?? What happend with these "amazing" Adriano, Chelsea screenshots?? I cannot see it on the game.....so, are you lying us then since the beggining?? Not the same graphics(i guess that since the beggining, but well i counted with another things....but....), not licence for Chelsea (omg...i cant believe this point) and instead of this, you give us this gay celebration graphics?? (i have nothing against gays, im talking about the game itself). Please, be serious and have respect for the people that made you famous around the world....yes...WE, the comsumers that brought each PES version to his computer or console. We deverve more than this kind of port. Gameplay is not all, aswell graphics are not all, but dont sell things that you cannot achieve please....we will be more happy if we are dissapointed from the very beggining. Thanks Konami....

So, do we must to wait another year?? for more lies??......... pffff.....

More clear, water.

Take care

I didnt realized about this:

4Players: Why doesn't one have the full editing function, which possesses the PS2-Fassung on the Xbox 360?
Seabass: We had to be limited here simply for time reasons to the substantial. The editing function of the PS2 is so complex, since one can change each detail. And there we for the Xbox 360 many new diagrams use, we still at least six to twelve months for the full editing extent would have used. But I promise now already that the next PES will likewise offer on the Xbox 360 everything.

This means that the game editor has not all the functions as the older ps2 and pc versions??, i mean we will not be able to edit a face, hair, back number, stats, names...etc???

The worrying thing is the comment about it taking 2-3 years to reshoot all animations for a next-gen game. Does this mean they have long since started the process or they haven't even begun to work towards a true next-gen experience yet?

Agreed. Seems to me Konami are happy to rest on their laurels and just make slight changes with each new release. If they think they can give us a rebadged PES4 for the next few years and that we the customer / mugs are going to keep buying it , then me old mukka Seabass is in for a shock.

Oh and let's remember we are talking about a football game , how hard can it be to totally over haul the graphics....

Can u ******* read or you have to go back to school??

I did not state that the commentary is a priority, I said it is the same crap which means I just take it away from the game.

I believe the editing part which he's refering to is the shirt/Logo-editor though I'm not sure.

The fact you sounded off about it shows it's something that concerns you. And the reaction above shows you've got a right chip on your shoulder about being pulled up on it.

Im reading just now some people reviews and magazine short stories, and, pfff....it looks bad, all it´s giving me the feeling that there will be not ingame editor for Pes6 on 360. Futhermore, i didnt see any pic about the editor. If finally the game does not content a complete editor, it will be very very sad.

And completly agree with Wolf, they had been time since pes3 or pes4 for to reshoot all the animations, new engine, etc......but it gives me the feeling that Konami had made this game of a quick way, in least of one year, thinking, "Hey, we need a PES for the 360 right now!!....EA is doing great with the last one", "Ok,,,ok,,,go,go, put a bit better graphics, say nice words, and people surely will buy it". Things does not work of this way. If Konami says that they need 2 or 3 years to transform completly PES for the 360, they are guilty about to start the programation so late and dont had though about this almost 2 or 3 years ago. I ask myself if this port to next-gen has something to do about PS3 will be delayed in Europe until next Spring.
