Sorry, the captains do not wear armbands. The patch, when released, will include a fix for the running the game without a sound card.

Wow - that patch will be eagerly anticipated by me, at least - as it seems as though my sound card won't arrive untill this Friday at the very earliest.

You lot have certainly shown EA Sports a thing or two about customer relations :)

And BTW: In any future patches will it be possible for 'keepers to wear specific shirts, like outfield players do?
