I have to feel sorry for him. Week after week he is stuck with the terrible Charlton defense, yet he pulls of fantastic save after save. Obviously he has conceded quite a few, no keeper is that good, but without him Charlton would be relegated.

Do you think he is ready to take over as England number 1? He sure gets alot of practice.

nah not quite yet. robinson does a good job, though carson should be given the chance after robinson.

Robinson should certainly be dropped though, he's become extremely dodgy since being named England number 1.

Scott is still young, and one performance doesn't make a 'keeper, but he's certainly a potential England first teamer.

Excellent performance t'other day though.

I watched my team the arse thrash charlton last night and Carson impressed me a helluva lot! He kept the score down from a possible 10 or so to 4, he made some fantastic saves, he gets my praise, he appears to go unnoticed don't know why he's very good. Deserves an England call-up sooner rather than later. One downside: He's Liverpool's property, I'm hoping they dispose of him.

I'm going to echo the sentiment in here. Robinson isn't good enough to be England No.1. However, instead of Carson, I would like to see Kirkland as England No.1. Hes proved he can dodge injury for a lengthy time now and has been Wigan's best player this season.

No, if Robinson isnt in the net then it has to be Carson. Kirkland IS too unreliable.

Thats why they sold Kirkland and kept Carson.

Foster is at the wrong club, it's a good job they're going down and should break into the man united first team soon enough, next season perhaps.

he will be better than van der sar 1 or 2 season's good job he's only on loan
