i have cable at the moment but i'm thinkin' of switching over to satellite, preferably Direct TV. you get more channels and it's a few bucks cheaper........... the only downside is that the satellite doesn't do to well in rough weather... but then again i live in sunny california so no worries there.

i'm still a little iffy about which is better so post what u guys have and yer experiences or whatever... :p

well in my apartment (where i live during the week) i have digital cable. And at my parents' house (where i live on the weekends) i have DirecTV.

I personally prefer DirecTV cuz theres lots more channels, but every Sunday at around noon to 12:15 my satelite cant seem to pick up the signal.

well in my apartment (where I live every day), I have digital cable, which I have no problems with... only when there's a really big storm outside or something, it'll stop working (but then again, my whole building's TVs stop working)

i think the difference is just the amount of channels.

If you're gonna get Fox Sports World i think u have to get it as a package...along with other sports chanels like ESPNews and ESPN Classic. Though i think this varies per cable provider.

I've got Adelphia Digital Cable and Fox Sports World comes with basic digital cable. I think my parents pay about $40 a month. We've got a fair amount of channels, probably about 90 to 100 with basic and there are about 14 pay-per-view channels, around 25-30 channels that just play music all day long, and 4-5 :brow: :hump: channels that you have to pay for. Overall, its pretty damn good. Some channels get messed up though for some reason. I would still take dish over cable anyday.

If you want soccer, go for Satelite definitely! A lot of cables don't have FSW.

I have dish network, which gives me Fox Sports World (EPL, La Liga, French Division, Eredivise, Bundesliga, Argentinian, Brazilian, Asian Highlights, UEFA Cup) and Gol TV (2 live Serie A games every week, Real Madrid TV, all South American leagues <Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, etc> )

I only watch Gol TV for the Serie A games and Real Madrid TV when they show classic CL games, so I was just guessing on the other leagues :p
