Round 5: Results and Previews

Bad tactics choice by myself ... although it was doing OK on Friday. Hit the post a few times, strikers just failed to either receive the ball or convert any chances. Promotion out of my hands for the second season running

Side note ... not that I'm bitter or anything... but

Has anyone noticed that strikers seem to gain some speed by magic? Watching the game today, and having been told some time ago the stats of Gareth's swedish striker (2 Speed, 4 Stamina), and looking at his movement compared to my central defender (6 Speed, 5 Stamina) - they always seemed to run at the same speed after throughballs?

Also noticed this playing Lee (Cerial Killers) a while back ... his 1 Speed attacker was outpacing my 4 Speed defender

speaking of taking to school, Stotty finally witnessed the wrath of my first team as I crushed his A-team 2-7 and 5-0

won 0-4 from 0-24 sc away to edinburgh knights. woo! five points clear of fourth, but four tough matches coming up. i've had some bad luck against west ham and kinda against boro, so hoping for some good luck vs swish and hurricanes and maybe i will pick up a few points which will leave me in a great position for a third consecutive top three finish.
