I think they should look at video evidence after games and give suspentions. It's embarassing watching some of these players going down like they've been shot eveytime their fouled.

He should be dropped from the current Netherlands' rosters. It's embarassing if Van Basten calls him in for the WC.
He really is quite good at diving, always has been. It looks so stupid, especially because he's such a class player. He doesn't need it. But dropping him from the Netherlands squad?? Man, he's our only real threat

I've been watching football all my life,its nothing new.
Some National teams incorperate cheating into their tactics as normal.After England beat Argentina lately,Maradona said that the Argentinian FA should concentrate more on "gamesmanship".He was dissapointed that todays Argentinian players no longer spit,elbow,dive,hair pull and cheat as much as they used to.He actually implied that was why they were beaten by England.
Although Robben's collapse was a joke....Look at some of your own players before you jump on the bandwagon.Liverpool do it,Arsenal do it,Man U do it.There is not one team in the world who has not got someone as pathetic as Robben when it comes to play acting.
Its no coincidence that such a big deal is being made of this particular incident because the player concerned is a CHELSEA player.I can understand most people feeding on that fact.The reasons are obvious and go without saying.
Just an example here.How much fuss was made when Robbie savage feigned injury when not even touched this season.Exactly.
Nedved,Deco,Pires,C Ronaldo,Sorin,Ronaldinho,Eto'o....the list is endless.
If you start to bring punishments in for this sort of thing,the major leagues will be missing so many players that it will be a joke.

Nonsense. They have the fame but in the recent past their behaviour is way different. How can you stand in your moral high ground when you have players like Robben and Joe Cole? If you want credibility mention them all. Joe Cole argues about every decision and his diving habits are in the same level of the players you mentioned above. I fail to see where you want to go. And plz don´t put this like this is exclusively the work of foreigns players. Charlton in his book talked about behaviours like this and the english game didn´t even have foreigners. Everyone dives, it´s not about the nationalities, it´s about the caractheristics of the players. I´m so sick of your moral high ground and lectures. Diving unfortunately has been part of the game for ages.
