Hi, I have worked something of a road to the 2010 World Cup, as of now only UEFA, CONMEBOL and CONCACAF are playable because of the teams I have been able to gather/create. I used the Road to 2014 World cup as base and have modified it accordingly. Credits to the Classic Patch, aswell to the expansion mods. great work but why using time to get from 14 world cup game while the complete world cup 2010 game and database are converted to fifa 11 and ready to convert in 1 day to fifa 14

ask skockzeck for authorisation first

then convert the db tables with db master and excell

get fifa converter from tokke on fifa 11 forums and convert all graphics to fifa 14 format

you have done 80 % of the work

for the db, you need to export with db master the tables from the original fifa 14 and the ones from the fifa 11 mod.

At least:

tableteams
tableteamkits
tableteamplayerslinks
tableplayers
tableplayersnames
tableformations
tableteamstadiumlink
tablemanager

open them with excell one by one, keep the column titles on fifa 14 tables, then copy past column by column the corresponding from the fifa 11 exported tables columns matching.

For a special column named "players traits" you must set all lines to 0 or found back the ones matching to each player one by one on fifa 14 db (value don't match between the game)

Then you will remain with columns empty which were not in fifa 11 tables and were added to fifa 14 database (mainly on tables teams, teamkits, teamplayerslinks and players). Those ones can be set to 0 or 1 or -1 or a generic value corresponding to fifa 14 database, since they concern mainly not really important details.

After all table completed, reopen fifa 14 original db, reimport one by one the tables converted from fifa 11 on fifa 14 db format. Save

You can open the db with CM or play the teams in game.

it's precise and you need database knowledge to do this, but if you do it like this, it takes around 15-20 minutes to convert the whole game database to fifa 14.

BUT any value missing or wrong will cause the game crash and you will take maybe months to find it

I have no time those days for this, since I have lot of things to fix on my addon and things that takes quite lot of time, but, if you can wait a few, I can do the database conversion for you next week. (I'll take the opportunity to zip some teams in cmp for expanding RTWC 10 into Classic patch addon )

Hi, thank yu a lot. So I did changed the tables in excell as you said. Only thing I have been unable to import it back to the FIFA 14 db. When I import them individually it tells it cannot be imported and, as a whole, it apparently does but nothing changes. Must be something I am doing wrong right?

yes, it's at least that the table are wrongly converted...

remember

open fifa 11 and fifa 14 tables (same ones) side by side.
empty fifa 14 table column (except titles)
check one by one the columns with exactly same name and copy paste the whole column with all data from 11 table to 14.
at the end, some 14 columns will remain empty (new ones not in fifa 11) and maybe 1 or 2 from 11 don't exist anymore on 14.
the new columns remained empty must be fille with with data value generic matching the 14 original ones (if 0 put 0 on the whole column)

Take care when saving the table opened with excell, it must have only 1 sheet, and select when closing "save" and "keep table format" when excell asks it.

try maybe with 1 table, tableteamstadiumlink and playernames, which are small and surely the same, reimporte them and save.
then do teamkits and teamplayerlinks for example to get familiar to process.

note that on db master, you must be on the correct table to import it, so if you want to import back tableplayernames, you must be on it

Can you please make a tutorial with video or photo step by step for db convert, because I have the same error and I can't fix it. Maybe I do something wrong with excel.

Personally following the steps valambrosio2 gave me, it worked perfectly. What I was doing wrong for that was that I was not saving it as unicode.txt but as another text format.
