Rique's rather stubborn insistence on playing FIFA 13 Patch

Thus far I have converted all of the FIFA 14 teams and players to FIFA 13 successfully and I have simmed through a few months and began a few careers (6 at least without any crashes thus far). I will release very soon as soon as I get a tester for each league.

N.B. Some of the positives of this patch is that all players stats, traits and faces have been updated to fifa 14 standards, mainly ingame textures such as stadium previews, fonts, kitnumbers, kits, heads and hairs in addition to balls (RIPPED FROM FIFA 14). Faces have been taken from the FIFA World game and work a charm (hence players who in FIFA 13 did not have specific faces now do as updated in FIFA 14 - THIS IS A DIRECT RIP FROM FIFA 14 and FIFA WORLD. So it's a MIDWAY BETWEEN FIFA 13 and FIFA 14. An evolution of FIFA 13... yet not quite 14...

CONS: PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ALPHA VERSION OF THE PATCH HAS BEEN SPLIT INTO TWO VERSIONS - IN THE INITIAL INSTALL CAREER MODE WITH UPDATED LEAGUES AND TEAMS FOR 2013-14 SEASON WILL WORK. HOWEVER, FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE SOUTH AMERICAN LEAGUES CAREER MODE WILL NOT WORK BUT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PLAY THE SOUTH AMERICAN TOURNAMENTS IN TOURNAMENT MODE.

Not sure I agree with your assessment of which game is better, but your thread title is definitely the best, ha! That's an impressive project. So are you saying relegation logic in your patch isn't working? Because that's my main reason for even playing career mode: I always take a bottom tier team and try and get them to the top tier.

I think my issue with FIFA 14 is simply that I expected more and got far less than I bargained for. I'm not contesting which is better. Relegation and promotion works just fine. What I meant is that teams like Reading or QPR In the Barclays Premier League have not been placed into the Championship and teams like Go Ahead Eagles have not been promoted in the Eredivisie. This causes crashes in career mode since the compdata tables need to be updated to accept these changes in the leagueteamlinks table. Basically the leagues and teams in each remain the same as last year until someone can help me with the compdata. The worse I hope for is that all FIFA 13 leagues will be updated to match 14 and current real world situations.The best I hope for is that all FIFA 14 leagues will be made for 13 to match Fifa 14's characteristics. However, all fifa 14 teams are present, but I have placed the teams that were not in FIFA 13 into the "Rest of WOrld" section so people can play friendlies or use their teams in career mode and replace any league team they choose. In summation, yes you can take a lower tier team all the way through. It's just that all the leagueteamlinks remain the same as last year until I can twist an arm or two to assist.

Great news here bangus. I was able to replace teams that were relegated in real life with the real life promoted teams from FIFA 14 and career mode works just fine. Can't wait to finish and release it.

I just need you to test the patch for bugs for now. I wish there was a way to convert the fifa 14 kits .rx3's to fifa 13 kits.rx3's. Can you make fonts? I have the Champions League fonts for the teams in this season of the Champions League but when I try to do the fonts it causes to game to crash.

I hate the lighting and I expected there to be more differences between FIFA 14 and FIFA 13. I have all of the kits. I ripped them from FIFA 14. It's just that the .rx3 settings are not viewable in CM13 since their values are different it seems. Can you export them as .PNG's? I will have to figure something out regarding them. The problem is, to get all of these .PNG's out will be so difficult. There are Hundreds if not thousands of kits in FIFA 14!!!!! Also, I solved my font issue. So I can now guarantee that all Champions League Teams will have their real world fonts for the Champions League Competition.
