Glad i finally found a patch/mod for FIFA16 for X360!

Going to try this tonight... and read trough this whole thread!

I was dealing with another patch at xbox360iso.com but i couldn't get it work, fatal crash on start :) Well, that doc. didn't say anything about using final big to extract those files... weirdo.

Anyway, tnx for this mod, hope it works hehe :)

As for winter gloves, here is what I found far eirlier:

When I use originally named files like "specificaccessory_0_219_0_16_textures" technically it applies to Marseille players for other game modes, but not for FUT if I have other players in my FUT team (not from Marseille originally), even using OM crest and all other possible attributes in FUT.

Hi guys!

Tried the patch yesterday. I can't really see any big changes? The adboards outside the pitch is the same etc. One thing that has changed (and a bug?) is that every shorts is blue colored...

I did extract datax.big, then replaced the files from the patch and then deleted datax.big from main folder...

Doing wrong!?

hey scouser09 first i want to thank you for this exellent tool.
i have notice one strange bug.i import one new stadium lets say romeo menti.when i play friendly game i see both home and away crowd fans.when i use the same stadium playing in carriere mode there are only home fans .the away banners are still there but the fans turn in home fan!!! iam sure that is something to do with luas files but i dont know what.this happens almost with all new stadiums not the original ones

Ignore that name change now, it was just for the test not a solution. I know the issue now. Kits that have alcohol and/or gambling sponsors have alternate versions with these logos removed. OM is in this category because of the gambling sponsor on the shorts. Russian users will use the version with both types of logo removed because of local restrictions. The UK has unrestricted which is why I have no issues.

I thought I had disabled the country protection in RM16, but I missed some references. I will fix this in the next version. There is another way to remove country protection though.

Extract kit_locale.ini from data_ini.big with CG File Explorer and remove the references to Russia to disable the country protection.

This mod does not come with new graphics, it simply lets you assign ones you could not assign by default. Many PC graphics can be used on the Xbox 360, so take a look around the forum. Faces and I think boots will not work.

I suspect that this is a FIFA bug rather than a RM16 bug. If so it may be fixable with lua editing. I will take a look sometime. Can you give me a link to a stadium you have had this bug with, and say if you added it with a different ID.

Hello my friend scouser09!!! I have a problem with kit numbers. I create a kitnumbers set, using CM16, it creates for example the file "kitnumbers_100_6.rx3" into "...\FIFA 16\data\sceneassets\kitnumbers\" folder, but into the game shows up like green and blue boxes!!! Why I am asking here? Maybe there is something I should disable from RM... Thank you for your time!!! :)

Aha! :) Got it then. I downloaded a mod from xbox360iso that is based on this one but i can't get it to work. Done everything.. posted for help their but don't got any answers yet. Galera was I who discover I found strange those files in the patch and thought if they are in the patch it is because they were taken and I was sure the patch're very good players with tattoo on many arm with new faces the most real grass graphics have been improved and much more. Vlw.

There are no locale.big included in the patch archive at all. My original file is still in the folder.

On Career Mode (offline) I only have 1 freekick on 10 matches!

I can not find any issues with that statement. This assignment does not apply if the match is wet weather or in winter, the winter accessories choice applies instead.

The problem is that RM16 only works with FIFA 14 or patched kit numbers to remove some restrictions. The CM16 template is an original FIFA 16 kit number.

Try replacing it with this:

Sorry, I only play and mod the PC version. There are a small number of Xbox 360 modders on this forum, but I do not think they check this thread regularly.

Adboards are an automatic feature, all you need to do is name the file correctly and it will work. Your "adboards.lua" will not do anything.

The text you put in the file are templates for different file names depending on what you are trying to assign to.

How do I go about adding specifickitnumbers to a team that doesn't have a specific kit number? Want to add them for Europa League.

Newcastle utd is the team. Went in an added a couple I made with fifa 15 last year, drag and dropped the files into fifa 16 kitnumbers folder and regenrated. Doesn't work.

This version allows you to identify kit colours. This allows the mod to detect colour clashes and use alternate short and/or sock kits, GK kits and referee kits if assigned.

IMPORTANT: Revolution Mod 16 V1.0 must be installed before installing this version if have not already done so. You can download this version from here.

Some notes on V1.1:

First, apologies for the delay releasing. I had planned to release last month but was delayed.

The main new features involve detecting colour clashing. This is important, this mod does NOT get colour information from the DB, they must be identified in the lua file. It is possible to get shirt colour information from the DB and generate statements though.

An example of how it works:

Try playing Swansea City (Home Shirt) v Swansea City (Home Shirt) to see the alternate sock variant and second choice GK used by the away team due to the clashes.

Users should also note that the algorithm is not perfect. The calculation is based on Euclidian distance between RGB values, colours which are distant enough to not trigger a clash can be visually similar.

More information is in the statements section of the documentation.

This is a feature I have delayed doing for two reasons. The first is I knew it would take a long time to code. The second is it needs colours to be identified for a large number of kits to be useful. I was able to extract shirt colour information from the DB. I got short and sock colours by running some scripts on the short and sock textures, however this information is not completely accurate. I found that short colour was about 98% correct and sock colour about 95%.

I created a spreadsheet with this information so you can inspect this data and make updates. There are formulae to generate the statements (use the sorter scripts to place in the correct file). I have made corrections for Premier League teams. Please also note that this infomation is for the unmodded game so not necessarily correct for any replaced kits in your game (especially originally generic kits). If someone wants to update this spreadsheet with correct colours for other leagues, please post in this thread.

All assignGKKit statements are now read as new assignGKKitPrecidence statements with randomization enabled. Therefore they function the same, but with clashing colours not chosen if colour identification statements are used.

An easy way to test tournament final graphics is to use useGlobalTournamentGraphics with an in-game custom tournament. Create a 2 team knockout with a single leg final, so the only match is the final. You will see the correct trophy now as well.

I am also aware of a small bug realated to GK gloves and accessories. The specific kit determined by the colour clashing algorithm cannot currently be detected. You can still assign to standard kit types and automatic GK IDs. I have not fixed this bug before the release as it is likely to take a large recode to fix.

If anyone has asked for features which have not been included, please repost.

Drag and drop is still possible. Do you have any copyTournamentNameAndNumberAssets statements in your general.lua? Also, just to check you know, that file will only work where white numbers are used.
