Renew work permit?? CM 03/04

Hi, i have a question about work permits. how are tehy renewed? i cant do it myself. I have Adrian Mutu in my squad (value 66 m €). and hav played him all season, bu tnow i see that his work permit will expire in a couple of matches, he has been playing 78% of the teams matches.
How is his work permit renewed? does this goes automaticcly or should i do something?
I dont want to pay him a huge Salary when i cant play with him.

Please help..

Offer him a new contract it should renew it automaticlly i think he might have to play 80% of League Games to be assured of a WP. Remember its on League games that count towards it
