I know Reg on the FIFA forums and he is not an asshole there. He might get tired of some members posting questions that are already answered, or spamming threads, but overall, RC helps a lot of other members become knowledgeable in FIFA modding. It's his mannerism; once you can get used to it, then it doesn't seem offensive in the least. You might reject his opinion here, but that is just what it is - his opinion. It is a free forum to post your thoughts on a topic.

i don't care if you are or you're not, the point is every time you say something stupid it is just as asshole as whatever it is you say i say.

He didn't ask me to defend him. Never has. I just saw the thread a few days ago and thought it was hilarious. Came back and it had grown exponentially and had gotten nastier.

However, I will say that plenty of posters come to the lounge and are accepted.

The reason you weren't RC wasn't because of your opinions, it wasn't because the "lounge clique" predetermined they'd dislike you. It was simply because you would state polarising opinions (fair enough) but refuse to back them up with reason. Whenever we have an opinion, like it or not, there is a reason for that developing. If you're unwilling to share that reason, it generally means you're embarrassed by it, or you realise the reason doesn't really justify the belief.

If you weren't a mod, then sure - I would agree with your statements there.

But as mods, we're held to a higher standard. Now I'm certainly not suggesting you do a poor job with the newbies in the FIFA forum since I've never ventured there; all I'm saying is this is not the correct mentality to have as a mod and sometimes we need to consciously exercise restraint against members who push our buttons.

everybody here already has their opinions, some from the fifa forums and some from the lounge the difference between the two is those from the fifa forums that know me and talk to me outside of sg and know me on a personal basis and don't judge me based off of my opinions because whether they agree of not they respect it while the lounge crew just rides me because they can never be wrong and their opinions all reflect each others and anyone who doesn't feel the same way they do is an outcast and an idiot.

Sir_Didier_Drogba once spoke to me on msn and my personality and attitude were completely different because it was a one on one conversation without the rest of the "crew" there to act up.

and if he says otherwise based on our conversation he is a damn liar.

the fact is i am entitled to my opinions and my statements regardless of anyone's feelings about them which is what everyone here seems to forget and just because i am not a "lounge clique member" it should not make my opinions or statements less respected than others opinions whether agreed with or not.
