Lass was a beast the year before but this season he was rather pedeestrian, borderline poor. I blame that on the fact he was being played out of position, and also his probable sickle cell anemia...might have affected his stamina which was always a big part of his game...anyway I hope for a recovery and with Mou in charge he should be getting played on his correct position

I didn't know about his sickle cell anemia... I just thought he was great in his first season because of his great form. I thought he was getting back to his old self in the 2nd season. He was far from impressive in the EPL.

Its a long life condition present at birth. His symptoms can be managed but the disease can't be cured. He probably has sickle cell trait which is a mild version of sickle cell anemia.

I understand that; I was just saying that they are still conducting test, so its not a sure thing, I believe what they did determine is that he has sickle cell trait, and now they might be ready to diagnose him with sickle cell anemia. Being that football is such a straining activity, I dont know how likely it is that if he is diagnosed with SCA that he will be able to keep playing professionaly at a high level.....it would be a shame, he became an instant fan favorite in the Bernabeu, not easy to do

Didnt see much of that game, but i saw entire game against not-so-democratic korea, had an epic game, got an assist, hit a nice shot. I reckon sign him now and do what they did with garay and canales (buy their contract then loan back for season then bring them into 1st team). I like him alot as a prospect.
