Fairly good game for us (relatively speaking). I think if Drenthe scores, the game would have been different. Anyway, we definately showed fight and hunger and that Im happy with but in the end our severely depleted squad was always gonna be the underdog. With healthy players back I see the next clasico in Madrid totally different. The cules can celebrate the league title now if they want but they should learn from their past. Its still way too early and if they end up with the injuries we have, theyll be a totally different side, for sure.
This was the first clasico that we lost in which I am not that bitter about at all. Going in there, I knew, just from our squad we have available that it was a tough hill to climb. If we lost with a full squad I'd be very pissed especially since weve done extremely well in the nou camp in the last several years. Anyway, on to the next match.

Yep that's exactly how I've felt Orgullo....Im not happy that we lost, surely, but its not horrible because I feel that the team played verycomposed tactically and defensively we were not bad at all, save for one or two weak links...Next season for instance we need a re-assesment of several key positions on our defense...LB is one example of that.....also guys, how about Palanca!!....and they say our cantera sucks....that guy was giving Abidal headaches!, too bad our tactics called for a more defensive approach, I would like that see that kid play again...

on all seriousnes, common guys, everybody saying we where gonna trash its part of the show, you gotta be cocky, i for one never said we were gonna trash you, i did say you were not gonna come out alive , and we certainly outplayed you guys like predicted, casillas had a great game, and that really says alot about the game, your four defenders played great specially metzelder, that guy save you in a lot of key plays.... i mean i dont get it why would everybody would be thinking diferently if we would won maybe 3-0 in the firts 30 minutes, but we did it 2-0 in the last 10 minutes, its just doesnt make any sense, you guys have won how many matches from the last seasons literalty in the last seconds against second hand teams and all of the sudden you come out as heros, and we come out and do it in the clasico, and all of the sudden it a half ass victory.... blahhh whatever.

Yes, you lost, but not without a fight. You fought your hearts out and almost succeeded and should be proud of that. You overcame all expectations and had there been someone good instead of Drenthe, with a bit of luck, you might have won. Hopefully, the next Clasico will be more evenly matched.

I also agree bout LB. Salgado is getting old, although he gives 100%, and Marc elo isnt good enough imo. A replacement for Diarra is crucial. I feel if we had Diarra yesterday it would have been different. Barca sent the ball from the back to the front with ease. Aside from that I would welcome a Kaka, and thats it. Hes expressed his discontent at Milan and obviously doesnt get along with Ronaldinho. This is our chance to make amove for him. We have excess cash atm and should make a push for him imo.

My dear sir, at the end of the season, you will ifnd that valencia don't win titles. WE do. Kindly remember that before making onesided predictions about the Clasico.
