It's funny, though.

Calderon seems like a complete retard, in addition to being a trained liar (lawyer). But since his arrival, Madrid are on a roll. Titles coming in, squad bursting with unity, everybody doing their best. Not sure how much Calderon has to do with it, but football is just stupid like that.

Things are going well on the pitch, and thats all i care about to be honest.

when it comes to other matters i.e. the stupid comments he makes ect i couldnt really care less. as long as things are going well on the pitch he can say whatever he wants.

You should care about more than just that though, especially with the power that Calderon holds and the internal issues that it causes due to his moves. Like the one we have right now with our SD issue (Pedja and Portugal).....and who the **** else knows whats going on with him. Anyway, it's not I have never really liked him from the start of thigns as he has always been a shady character.

Good news today ! Sneijder started jogging today. He did that just one month and week since he got injured. He recovery is going faster than expected. Hope he can continue like that and be fit soon.

getting healthy so fast isnt always a good thing mate.... he still needs a cushing of time after he recovers, and after that maybe be sure he can train.... this is why marquez and messi got injured so often... sometimes is better you wait the time and not risking getting him off the fields weeks later, this why laporta is beeing very careful about the milito issue, its supose his injury was lesser in recovering time but he wants him 100% fit, rather than him resenting his injury week after week.

well from my understanding it is the player who like Robben did last season has been working day and night to get rehab, that's one thing about a lot of dutch players they are the consumate professionals, he knows this is how he eats and he works hard at getting back on the field....I am sure Schuster will bring him about little by little until he is fully fit...

Yup the positive thing is that we won, on the negative we conceded 3 goals to Numancia, two against Deport, that's 5 against four in favor, not a good marging at all, the defense looked horrible and again we hurt on set pieces and on long range shots, offensively we look rather well and Higuain really needs to get the nod ahead of Raul, for the time being, Also Diarra played a great game...all in all a win is a win, now the champions!

I think Marca has reached an all-time low in its bias. Wasn't Guti's "golazo" a very fortunate deflection? Any excuse to slap Guti and Raul on the front page, I guess.

So, yeah Madridistas, nice of you to stop by......anyway, we beat BATE who are not CL worthy IMO and even with those limitations we were only able to put two past them.....truly garbage....nothing remarkable really....oh yeah Gago got hurt....

on a side note, I would pay any kind of money for a DM like De Rossi I think he is the force of the future....

seems to be a little controversy brewing over who should start up front with Rudd, it seems that Higuain will get the nod ahead of raul and I have to agree, I said it before and I say again, Raul is not a starter at this level anymore, he can add more as a sub, while Higuain just needs more minutes to be able to break out into the great player that I believe he is

Madrid are playing BATE, and Schuster had already exhausted all three subs. Miguel Torres and Dudek tell Saviola to go warm up because he's going to be brought in. This is what puzzles me here. Saviola is sitting on the bench and is unaware of the fact that there are no more subs. What is he doing, because he's certainly not watching the game?
So poor Pedro proceeds to warm up, while his coach Schuster just sits there, not caring that a player of his is warming up for no reason. The fans are trying to tell Saviola to sit back on the bench, but he doesn't hear them. In the meantime, Torres and Dudek are laughing their asses off. Then Dudek signals Pedro that he'll be subbed in, and Saviola approaches Manolo Ruiz to take his Carlos*et off, only to be told that, unfortunately, Madrid can't make the fourth substitution. Dudek then tries to cheer the Rabbit up, but the latter is embarrassed and doesn't want to talk to him.

You have to wonder about Saviola, though. He had the same "problems" with us. I remember once, van Gaal was trying to explain to him what he should be doing on the field, and instead of looking into the coach's notebook, Saviola is watching the game. Van Gaal had to pull his shirt to try and get his attention.

It's hilarious, man.
