Err why would it be that way? I don't think anyone is saying he does not perform well, think of it this way if Gago is injured what will the midfield look like? We can't keep playing Guti in CM, so if Gago is injured we are ****ed if we did not have Diarra. J. Garcia would play for Gago and that does not sound good. The way I see it is that Gago - Lass (lol sounds funny) is going to be our deeper midfield partnership. Wesley could play in one of those spots or furthur ahead.

Hell no Paul! What if Gago gets hurt (and he will eventually)? What if Mahmadou gets injured again? Or both?

Ok on retrospect, I say that yes, it is a good idea, I guess another thing that concerns me is that this Lass guy left two top flight clubs because he wanted extra playing time, he wanted to be a starter....but with Gago improving and Juande playing a rigid and non-complex 4-4-2 where is his place in this lineup?, I mean i would not see a reason to bench gago all of the sudden, he hasnt been the problem this year, instead he has been one of the good news....So say without injuries what should our starting lineup look like then...

Also we are loading on with new guys in the winter, what is gonna happen in the summer, who is gonna go and who is gonna stay? I havent seen Parejo play a whole lot, but suppose that De La Red can recover, what happens to him then?, Lass and Diarra....I know Lass doesnt want to be a backup, at the very least a rotation player......

I say without injuries it would look like this, correct me if I am wrong

It all depends on what Juande will play, I know he likes to play a variation of a 4-4-2 for the most part (although IMO it's more like a 4-4-1-1 or even a 4-2-3-1 but that's just me) and anyway maybe he switches to a 4-3-3 with a 3 man midfield, than Lass will be needed. Anyway, I don't think Parejo will play a lot but is here in case of more injuries (we have have been really unlucky this year with it). We will have to wait and see what type of line-up to expect before we can say we will leave or not.

Anyway I don't know how good or bad Lass is but either way let's see what the kid has got to offer. Also one last note Paul, he can play RB as well.....which sounds mightly tasty IMO.

only seen clips of him on youtube but what ive seen he seems like hes a bit of a magician which everyone can agree...... thats what we need

and benzema........ my mouth waters!!! i cant remember who compared him to Ronaldo (de lima) but they said it best! he runs at defenders and rounds keepers just like ronnie used to! so him and huntelaar (target man) up front would be a dream come true

Yeah, what I've heard here is that you guys are offering € 21M for Angel Di Maria. Benfica's president is available to negotiate him but only at the end of the season, so since Juande Ramos want him in January you'd have to pay his release clause - € 30M, which frankly I don't see happening.

So the most likely is you guys opting for Krasic.

Btw also read somewhere Milan are interested in Cannavaro.

Why on earth would Pedja and Co. want Pennant? Ridiculous. He is very very average imo. Havent sen Krasic. I compared Ben to Ronnie. I think hed be perfect for us!

I just want to point out that while I think Calderon and Pedja are idiots, it would have been nearly impossible for us to find two or three qualitiy players during the winter that could have all played the CL....Because most of the good to decently good players already play for teams that either in the CL or in the UEFA....also the same people who are now calling Pedja and Calderon an idiot (marca) are the same people who trumped up the signings of both The Hunter and Lass as solutions for the CL...if they were so bright they too would have figured out that there was a rule in place forbidding both of them from being entered into the CL.....
Di Maria would be an interesting addition IMO....Penant, is Garbage to put it mildly, it is not by conincidence that he warms the bench at 'Pool....And Yes getting Benzema would be IMO a huge Coup during the summer but we shoudl also know Lyon will not sell cheap...it will be at least 50M....

These 2 are inept at running a club of our magnitude. Or any club for that matter. We've been lacking leadership, resposibility and brilliance at the helm for quite some time. If we get an astute pres. and sporting dir. we'd be in business. Those 2 set the tone for everything the club does. Florentino was the perfect Pres. if only he stayed out of the coaching and directing of buying players business. The man could deliver any player he wanted. We could have been one of the all time great sides during his period. IMO.
