I really bad to heard about Ruud. I hope a speedy recovery for him. I am sure that now will buy a striker in the winter transfers. From all the name there are saying right now I like i would could get Huntelaar. He young and eligible to play CL.

He's injured too.

I'm feeling pretty neutral of this, even a bit sad, because if and when we beat you, I want it to be full squad vs full squad, so there is no room for excuses. :innocent_smile_1:

haha I'll agree with you for the first part, but not the second one...

because your doing so good, that only a bad run would cause you to be fighting for Uefa, and I don't see that happening ;)

ah man, I hope you guys don't get him ...

I've always liked Crespo ... he's a fantastic finisher (left foot, right foot, head), and makes terrific runs to get himself into the right place at the right time ... he'd be a great signing, and I'm sure he'd do great ... but I want him to stay at Inter and be played ...

I reckon you could get Adriano on the cheap if Pedja & Co. negotiated with Inter right now ... that said, Branca is apparently going to use Adri as a bargaining chip for El Kun, so you'd probably only be able to snare him on loan for now ... which, I suppose, would meet your requirements ...

Crespo would be an great signing, as you stated, he is a great finisher and because he is not a Mourihno favorite, he could be easily brought in

I hope Mourihno doesnt block the deal, looking at the market it is our best option...also I would look to give drenthe away on loan and see what we could get for him, He is not a bad player per say but definetly not Real Madrid caliber

WE ARE ******* SAD...........I hate Pedja, I really feel like he's the one that screwed us over with his non-signings this offseason

well i dont really undestand why its only pedjas fault or calderons for that matter..... you guys are really missing the big picture here, i really see resemble from this team to the barca from the last season after touching glory... you guys have lost the sense motivation and thats the main problem i see, schuster has a big blame on this too, and the players of course.... you guys with this same team had an spectacular season, how you go from there to this, plus the injurys are really hurting the team, like i always mention, what is the team going to do without ruud, many would say higuain would step up, or even so the midfield, but iam not only talking about scoring goals, but having a player who is a game finisher, saves you when the rest of the team is playing crap, in this kinda of game like the valladolid one usually ruud would come out of nowhere to socre 2 goals in the last minutes.... and i guess its easy to blame pedja or calderon for non siginings, or it will be easy to get rid off schuster, but i still think the players really need a shake off to wake up, theyonly need a spark of motivation, and the thing can get rolling again.... still the season is long, and nothing is writing yet, but if you guys keep going out there like zombies this the season is gonna feel much longer.

The Von Trapps
letting Juan Mata go seems laughable in retrospect ... and the exorbitant amount paid for Drenthe seemed just as excessive when you got him as it does now ...

the problem is that you guys always openly go for the big-names who are considered the best in the game ...

this past summer was no different, though it was almost a sense of going for the unattainables: Cristiano Ronaldo, who was always going to be priceless to Man Yoo following last season; David Villa, who needed to be kept at Valencia by the boardroom suits, for sporting reasons and to make a political statement about the club's intent ...

the capture of van der Vaart was a masterstroke, but following the ridiculous sums being posted for David Villa and especially Cristiano Ronaldo, it seemed to be received as anti-climactic, and almost a compromise signing -- which is far from reality, because getting Raffie for that cheap was the coup of the summer ...

this fascination for other teams' stars is ubiquitous, but it must not be the all-consuming mission of your team's summer plans ...

and it certainly needs to be made clear that players must not be bought to provide star attractions for political campaigns, but must be bought at the behest of the coach, whose plans will exclusively focus on sporting success -- which, ironically, is what football clubs are about, and is exactly what is needed to emphatically settle any political rumblings (just look at Barcelona in the past 6 months) ...

all that said, I still think you guys have a good enough squad to challenge for titles this season ... it is just a matter of putting in the hard yards to find form and chemistry despite injuries in the squad, while keeping it simple (and possibly grinding out results) when form or favour doesn't go your way ...

bah why that long arguments, its the same **** but without RVN goals and casillas miracles + barça, valencia, villarreal and sevilla in better form

Leave it to Arnau to oversmplify........:nape:

Big Al, yes, the players are certainly responsible as is Schuster; but if you really want to expound on the root cause of the problem, I still go back to the signings....Last year we won and we suffered in a number of games....so having seen where we were weakest at Schuster himself asked for certain positional sign ups...namely a RB or LB, a striker and either one of two wide players...he wasnt asking for names, he was asking for players....

Granted injuries have hurt us, but it shouldnt be coming to this....blame the tactical system and the players for playing like Guti did today (like a total Zombie) but really there had to be a place where the team was re-inforced...Honestly, had we pushed for Villa from early on, or even Huntelaar, we would have gotten either or....We could have easily gotten Quaresma, who while not my favorite we could have used as a good option on the flank.......anyway, I am ranting I know we have the fight in us.. but this cannot go on....and one more thing, how can anyone question the fight in this team, where it not for the fight in the team we would have lost three or four more games we should have lost....so really, you have to give the players credit for that at least....anyway, I'm spent...
