also C.Ronaldo would want to be wearing the #7 jersey if he comes to Madrid, coz of his contracts and sponsor deals and i think he's opened a club or hotel or something named CR7. Alot of money could be made or lost from him in that number

I think if he came he would be number 17 and dont forget he would still be wearing number 7 for portugal and Ruud would be givin the number 9 shirt although if Robinho leaves Ruud could take the number 10 and Huntelaar could take number 9, i know Soldado is number 9 but he will be sold or loaned im sure.

Yeah I would like him, he could be a perfect replacement for Raul, he could start taking over that position, cause regardless of how good el capi's season was, he is getting on in years...and he is spanish, which is good, but I would still feel our more pressing need is a killer in the area like Van Gol...but sure i wouldnt mind Villa

This is the fact Zidane....we dont have a replacement for Ramos, if he were to leave I am not sure that a guy like Torres could do his job. Also the market is so thin of good attacking RB which is what Schuster's system demands, that it would be nearly suicidal to let him go....

Bosingwa just signed for Chelsea, Alves for Barca, and Maicon is definetly not for sale, after that the options are pretty poor...so no, I would not trade Ramos for anybody at this point...I would however trade Robihno for Ronaldo....now hear me out..

I like Robihno, I think he will be a top three in a few years, but the tradeoff is not bad at all, we get a great player they get a great player...I wouldnt just let him go but if we ABSOLUTELY had to tradesomeone for Ronaldo it would be him....

also, what a great Euro a lot of the Madridistas are Having, with the exception of Ramos...and with the highlight of Sneijder...now nobody questions the 25 mill for him or the 36 for Robben or even the 30 for Pepe....great buys now...hehe

Yes, CR is at the time the best player in the world. But calderon would be very stupid, paying 95(!) mio. € for CR.
It's too much money. With 95mio. we could buy Villa,Huntelaar and Juan Vargas.
And we already have great Wing-Players (Robben,Robinho,Balboa and Drenthe)
And Raul can also play Left Wing. So that there is no problem for buying Villa. And we need good Strikers because they gets easily injured, and RVN possibly will leave Real...
Cannavaro is injured, Metzelder will leave, Heinze will play central defender and Garay will come 09/10 so we need more defender (exspecially left defender). Marcelo can not play all the games and Torres is thought to play on the right side or in the central.
SO CALDERON PLEASE BUY THE 15mio. FOR VARGAS!!

The only problem with Robben is that you can't expect him to play more than 5 straight games or else he's bound to trip himself and get injured for months.......
although i do agree when he's at his best he is a class act.

Some great points, the worrying part is that Calderon is crazy enough, that he would actually make such a trade just to get what he wants.

And yes, our Madrid players are sure proving their worth in these Euro's, Sneijder and Pepe in particular

think Juan Vargas would be a really good signing for R. Madrid (not cuz he's peruvian, but because he is considered one of the best left backs in Serie A right now)
He is got a great shot, he is physically tough, good technique, (kind of like how Heinze plays)
i acknowledge Marcelo's improvement this past season but i think we need to reinforce that Left Back position

Now that Portugal has been eliminated, the C.Ronaldo saga will be at full force in the media.There saying that if Ronaldo come to Madrid, Robinho will no longer be in Schuster plans. I would not want to see Robinho leave Real Madrid because before he injury in the last season, he was Real Madrid best player. I am sure he would have continue to play great if not of his injury. But if Ronaldo come, it will be hard for Robinho to have some playing time with Schuster.They said his wingers will be Ronaldo and Robben. Robben is a great player but you never know with his injuries.

The only saga now is wether Man U will sell him or not, He has stated he wants to come, go to Marca.com they got a sound bite of his saying the stuff if understand Spanish then you'll know what he says...anyway....Robihno was the one who started all this, after the Brazil-Canada he said he was willing to leave unless he got a new contract...so hey whatever buddy, we should never bow down to players...What Ronaldo did to Man U is rather shameful but United have never had to sell a player they wanted to keep...I think they will eventually have to sell him, why keep an unhappy player that wont play when you could make all that extra money and buy three other players...anyway...
