Anyone who believes Drenthe actually costs 20m is stupid. Feyenoord doesnt have any money, so they will be happy to get 10m. Believe me, they will complete the deal with Chelsea for 10m.

Drenthe isnt worth more than 5 million. He hasnt shown a thing yet. Only 3 good games at the U-21 EC. Thats not enough. We payed 5 or 6 million for Marcelo. And I dont think Drenthe is anywhere near as good as Marcelo is/could be. Marcelo actually played fantastic games for Fluminense. Drenthe didnt play that good for Feyenoord. We are just overpaying for a potential good player. 7 million would be the max to give. But imo he isnt worth more than 5.

We should go for someone else now. I mean, the Robben move wont be finished as Abramovich said that he wont sell. So thats it for him.
Quaresma should be the new target and a new ACM. Diego, Nasri etc.. Its not that hard. We have alot of money so spend some! I just was readin a bit and saw that Valencia was interested in Kim Kallstrom. I forgot about that guy completely. He is a superb playmaker! He is also one that should be looked at imo.

Can someone explain the sense behind getting Dudek? I mean, even at his best he barely rivaled Casillas, and he's spent several years on the bench now, and is well past his prime as it is. You're investing in potential stars like Higuain, Gago, Drenthe, Marcelo, etc. but you get an aging GK instead of a young, potential star? It just makes no sense. So.. yeah, what's the idea behind it?

a good ****in back up keeper is the idea from dudek
or you prefer a non experianced 20 year old that doesn't have the balls for big matches if casillas is injured or suspended

dudek can handle pressure i can admit he is not one of the best but a good back up to an already one of the best casillas

you hate ivan helguera as much as you like
but still he is one of the best defenders that played their hart and soul for the club in every game he played and when he was needed he was there ready for action so don't ever speak badly about a player simple couse you don't like the man

Agreed about Drenthe. Marcelo>Drenthe. 2 problems with our market dealings: #1, I think Mijatovic & Calderon aren't the best negotiators, movers and shakers (unlike Florentino Perez who could get anyone. Like him or hate him, he set out to do what he said). #2, Many clubs hate Real Madrid and thus make it hard for us. They like to bust our balls, make us get on our knees, and most importantly, suck out all our blood since we are very rich. F' em all...Youth system is the way to go.

I can explain it. Look at it like this. Casillas himself is 25 I think. He is f*cking young. Why get a young GK if Casillas can still be the first GK for the next 10 years. It doesnt make sense to get a young potential super GK, because we already have one that is very young!

Couldn't be more correct. One thing with Casillas, is that he depends on speed and reactions largely, so if he start's to slow down when he get's 30+, he may not be able to stay at the top of his game like other goalkeepers do, because keepers like Van Der Sar can stay at the top because of their height etc. Casillas isn't very tall, but Real definitely don't need to look for another long term replacement for 5-6 years.

I agree with u man we shouldnt pay more than 7mill for Drenthe with Marcelo and Torres we got the LB cover for the LWM we can buy Reyes and Robben and I do agree too that we should get Nasri or Diergo for the AM position Quaresma would probably come as a surprise signing like Pepe those 30 mill that pay for him dont really match up yet

uh we have a young, current star in goal right now, no need to invest big in a backup. Jerzy is a great experienced backup who will do well to spell Iker in a handful of games a year
