Just an interesting tidbit: During Robinho's absence, RM didn't win a game.

I have said it before and I will say it again, he is our Kaka or C. Ronaldo. This season he has really upped his game and has taken the role being the guy to go to.

About the game I did not see it but heard that it was an awful match? I guess we did not play that great and the ref was crap too sending of both Beto and Ramos was harsh or something like that. I also heard that Robben had a very horrible tackle to take, like worse than Taylor's which everyone was going crazy over. So I won't comment much as I did not see the game but good win nontheless, it breaks this losing streak that we had going.

It wasnt a bad game. In the first half we were completely outplayed. We had one chance and we scored it. The second half though, we were alot better then Huelva and we played much better. Gago got himself alot better in the game and that payed off. Robinho is just something special. IMO he is definalty the best player in the world. This proves his class once more. His first touch was immedialtly a goal. What a legend!

But now over to the ref (and Ramos). The referee started to really f*ck things up in the 2nd half. He sent of Beto for nothing, atleast Heinze made something big out of nothing. Then he was really searching to give us a red card too. Ramos just jumped into a challenge with his eyes on the ball ALL THE TIME and he got yellow carded for ELBOWING his opponent!!! Then Ramos did something stupid by abusing the ref...he is definatly in trouble for that. A minimum 3 games that could become 5. (looking at the fixtures, Espanyol, Depor, Valencia, Sevilla)...very very stupid!!! We will miss him! Now on Robben...that tackle was like TERRIBLE! No more words.

Robben is confirmed out against Roma, and possibly one mroe game after that, such a shame, and not his fault at all, Quique Alvarez should get quite a few games of suspention

Hmm wonder how our team will look for Roma, Robben is out and Ramos is suspended. Thank God Pepe and Robinho are back though. (Y)

I think it will look like this...

-------Casillas-------
----Canna---Pepe----
-Torres--------Heinze-
--------Gago---------
--------Guti----------
-Drenthe-----Robinho-
-------Baptista-------
--------Raul-----------

Drenthe might become Higuain. But I doubt that. Or we might play like the away game with Gago and Diarra. With Guti on the 'right'.

I don't have stats to back me up, but since his time at Madrid, he must lead the team in cards, and possibly La Liga.

(disclaimer: Not a criticism, just an observation.)

According to espnsoccernet Ramos has 49 discipline points( 1 for each yellow, 2 for each red) the last 3 season which puts him 2nd in La Liga behind Peter Luccin with 50 points.

But I think we can all agree that a lot of his cards are just from hard & intense play, and not dirty fouls.

yes he is the leading card getter since coming in, also I think 3rd in Madrid HISTORY!...surely somebody needs to talk to him about this...I think he is a fiery competitor, that is part of what makes him great, but also part of what sucks about him...I for one woudl talk to him about retaliation fouls which he has been guilty off, and also about cynical fouls, but I would never ask him to tone his intensity down...also we must note that as he gets older he will learn I am sure of that, he's only 21

ps. Robben out for at least a month!!! :(

I think so too, that's one area he really needs to improve on although some of his cards can be aruged of if it should have been a card or not but sometimes he just needs to chill out a little. I don't think he is a dirty player either but sometimes he lets his emotions get the best of him.

Damn, what the **** kind of tackle did he take? :| One month, that ******* sucks.

Also I don't think he actually ever abused the ref, If I read right he told him that he is scared or that he is ****ting his pants in reference to giving Ramos the ref which may be for making up for the Beto sending off.

YELLOW CARD: Untrustworthy
^^ picture an Eduardo type tackle, but without the break (thank god)

As for the Ramos thing, from what i saw, he also touch the ref in an unfriendly way.. although I may be wrong, and he almost hit Diarra when he pulled him away.

Without the *, the last figures and letters of the address.

About the tackle, I think Robben got lucky there, as his foot slided on the grass with the tackle. If the grass hadn't been that slidy, he could've end up much worse.

Wouldn't be surprised.. he should know that you just don't lay hands on the ref no matter what..

Here's the Robben Tackle. I forgot how to post Youtube videos, so here's the link.

:|:O Wow, that tackle deserve's a suspension, I mean what the **** was that. That's just a horrible tackle.

tim5303 - From what I have heard RVN won't be fit to play so either it's Raul up front with Drenthe and Robinho behind him or Raul and Baptista up front which I hope we don't play. I would rather perfer to play Raul with Drenthe and Robinho behind him.
