It would be the fact that [email protected] is an email address easily found in search engines.

Some viruses use search engines to find email addresses, then put them in the From area when sending out viruses.

I have the latest virus checker, so I am quite sure I don't have the virus.

BTW, have you emailed me in the past, and if so, when?

EDIT 3 : OMFG i've received another one of these this time it's from [email protected] . is there a way to block these messages? damn.

i've got something like this 2-3 days before.....
the subject have "RE:" which looks like he's replying my e-mail....
and the contain, just a word, "drugs..." with an attachment.....
i deleted it of coz....:p

Same happened with my email address a while back, I was sending out virusses to people I didn't send at all, f*cking hate virusses!

Its the kind of virus that just uses "from" addresses from anywhere. Hard to stop. Doesn't actually mean the person who it is from actually has the virus.

It just means that someone has the virus who happens to have the "from" address in their contact list or email inbox.

I've been getting millions of these for a while now.....norton just zaps em.......apparently i've sent a few too :( Aint got none through hotmail tho
