[R] Primate United vs. SFC Bésto

this was just a friendly to from one off our many non-SG league games.

Harvie Sowell started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Emory Ally kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 3rd minute Philo Beers fired away a shot on goal, but he got a little bit to much spin on the ball whih sent it just outside the right post. When Meredith Magill in the 5th minute came up free with the goalie everyone thought it would result in a goal, but the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. The supporters of SFC Bésto booed when Primate United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duane Mark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roderick Brown showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darren Macneil, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. SFC Bésto's defence hadn't a chance when Meredith Magill in the 14th spelminute rumble in 1-0 to the left of a doubtfully acting Roderick Brown. Giles Connolly might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when with a hard shot tried to place the ball over Deryck Mcmaster. Instead the ball went over the crossbar. A very good chance for a goal. Rudy Feltner hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Primate United's Meredith Magill got a good chance for a goal in the 20, but he totally missed. Kenneth Pike made in the 22nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Darren Macneil immediately put the ball in play. The throw-in from Mats Biörkquist in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SFC Bésto's Harvie Sowell. Darren Macneil dribbled his way through the penalty area and after manuevering past an opponent 27 minutes in the game fired away a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked to go in, but it was to long and went out. After a couple of tricks SFC Bésto's Harvie Sowell tried to shoot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the goal and out. A hard, long distance shot from Philo Beers flew over the goal. August Andreasson got a yellow card during the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play SFC Bésto's Xavior Hubert got a free kick in the 36th minute. Darren Macneil didn't hit the ball hard enough in the 38th minute and the defenders could cover the ball till it rolled outside the goal and ended in a goal kick. Kenneth Pike made in the 42nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Darren Macneil. When Primate United's Meredith Magill in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SFC Bésto's goalie prevented a goal. Philo Beers might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when with a hard shot tried to place the ball over Deryck Mcmaster. Instead the ball went by the crossbar and out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was very happy to see the home team leading 1-0, when the referee blew off the first half for a rest break.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gösta Petersson to strike the kick off in the second half. Mats Biörkquist made in the 48th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Meredith Magill. Primate United's Darren Macneil got a good chance for a goal in the 53, but he totally missed. A hard and well directed shot from Mats Biörkquist led 56 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. SFC Bésto's Roderick Brown became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-0. When Rickard Mattsson in the 59th minute came up free with the goalie everyone thought it would result in a goal, but the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Darren Macneil hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute of the game Quentin Criddle made a throw-in which Mats Biörkquist played forward. SFC Bésto's Giles Connolly got a good chance for a goal in the 65, but he totally missed. In the 67th minute of the game Mats Biörkquist made a throw-in which Kole Hooper played forward. Primate United's Gösta Petersson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Felix Fuller in the 69 minute of the game. Meredith Magill fired away a real killer towards goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar out without Roderick Brown having to interfere. After an attempt to cheat, the referee gave Duane Mark an unnessary yellow card during the 73rd match minute. A collision led to SFC Bésto getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Emory Ally hit a great ball. In the 75th match minute Primate United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duane Mark to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute Giles Connolly got an opportunity to score goal, but didn't get a solid hit on the ball ending in a missed the goal. 76 minutes into the game, Mats Biörkquist threw the ball into play from the sideline. SFC Bésto's Ferdinand Breen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lucian Downey hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Felix Fuller got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high. During the 81st minute SFC Bésto was judged a corner and Emory Ally went to the cornerflag to hit the ball. Deryck Mcmaster made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Philo Beers sent off a good shot on target. SFC Bésto's Giles Connolly stood unmarked in front of goal when he in the 83rd play minute got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. SFC Bésto's Harvie Sowell managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mats Biörkquist in the 86 minute of the game. Harvie Sowell got a yellow card during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th match minute Primate United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kole Hooper to maneuver through the defense. Giles Connolly shot a long shot in the 90th minute and a light blocked Deryck Mcmaster hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 2-2. The home team was disappointed over not having won and had to accept the match ending in a draw in spite of the fact that Primate United was the better team.


The fact i had less goals against might have been because i have changed my goalkeepers.

well it was a very one sided game, the opposition didn't deserve the draw as we played the football! im fairly disappointed that we lost but it wasnt a reall league match or the coveted SG league game therefore will let this "result" go.
