hi, i just found this forum today, and i am a new to fifa world cup 2002. my friend gave me his copy, and im still trying to learn how to play it...

Im really having troubles with some of the keys:

1. The A key for lob, I know what it does, but when do you use it?

2. The space key for a 1-2 pass, what does it do?

3. This one confused me the most, the Q key for "player runs" when i pressed this, the player didnt run, instead 3spots appeared on the field, corrosponding to my team color. (dont you press the W key for players to run?)

what does the Q key do, and what are those spots? (if Im using Brazil, the spots would be yellow, if England, spots would be white...etc)

thats all. any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks a lot

Hmm the 1-2 option is used when u have the ball. Then you press space & the player you're controlling passes the ball to another player. Then that player passes it back to & during that interval you can sprint forward etc.

The spots show that that particular player is making a run. Therefore by passing the ball to him you are more likely to break thru the oponents defence
