Well I appreciate the insult, but I am no more a computer nerd than you. I play FIFA and fool around a bit on the net looking for info on the game at this forum. In order to have such a strong opinion about FIFA 2001 for the PC you must have played it a bit and you are posting on this forum. Doesn't sound much different to me. By no means do I spend my life on it, I am a University student, in fact a lot of the time I read. Anyway that's my piece.

Why would the PC version be worse?
-More CPU power
-Better graphics (If you don't use a 1995 computer ofcourse!!!)
-Patches, updates and kits

BUT! EASPORTS hasn't finished the game for the PC! There are several things missing (check other posts e.g. Rest of the world= Galatasaray...). They were able to pull this off because Intel or AMD or any other computer company can't stop them from creating a crappy game where as if they make a crappy game for PS2, SONY would beat their ass. A console's power has to come from GOOD games and if EA doesn't make them, SONY would make no profit. They are obliged to make good games for PS, PS2, Dreamcast, N64,... so they stop making good games for pc. Also if they made a perfect game, nobody would buy the next one...
I hope it's clear...
And: I'm sure that they can do better because EURO 2000 was a classy game (check other posts also) and several features are missing (e.g. shirts and shorts that get dirty)...

He whines about computers this and computers that, makes me want to just bi*ch slap his ass, and tell him, "Who's your daddy, boy?!"

But on a serious note, if he wants to believe that the PS2 is far better than a PC, then let him. At 11 years old, you don't know any better.

Also, if having correct rosters and correct kits isn't important, why do you still buy the latest version of FIFA? I buy it for the uodates as well as the game play.

PC never dies cuz it's much easier to upgrade and enhance a PC! Currently a PS2 may be superior but after a few months, if PC games support these Ge Force and other great graphics cards enough, PS2 will be beaten again! And just wait for a while for DVD games in PC then you'll swallow what you've said for the PC's!

Your PS2 can't even make you available in this forum
Also PC games are way cheaper!!!

What so just because we have a computer it makes us nerds does it? And who cares about the PS2 controller, we are not talking about controls. And how do you know that we havent tried the PS2 FIFA 2001? We don't care about the quality of the graphics, we just like the PC version because you can download stuff for it to make it more realistic. Anyway I have an nVidea TNT 2 graphics card so I am happy.

Don't forget consoles run at low resolutions, and only the video card of Dreamcast and PC(Geforce2 & Voodoo) has Anti-Aliasing. The PS2 graphics is more powerful but the dreamcast graphics looks more beautiful. And we(PC) do not need Antialiasing if we play at 1280x1024 and above.
