Problem With CDs

Hey guys, I have an Xbox and Im having a lot of problems with the games I have. For some reason, scratches appear on the CDs, which I keep clean and put away in their case. Now everytime I put the games in my Xbox, they always manage to freeze and it usually tells me I have a dirty disc. I dont know if its from my system, or random scratches that can ruin a CD. I already bought a CD cleaner and that didnt do much at all. Any suggestions?

I've heard about a problem like this before (with the 360, though...). When you physically move your console while it's running, it may scratch the disc that's inside. Don't know if this goes for the regular Xbox.

i here about this when i was in game one day it either means a few thing their is alot of dust on the console, The console is old and dusty and also if their blue eye bit has been touched then it does start scraching dits and not playing them.

I would suggest trying to get hold of somehting like disc doctor, which claims to be able tor emove most scratches from cd's and Dvd's


not sure if it's compatible with xbox games, but I would guess it is
