Pro Evolution Soccer 3 vs FIFA Football 2004

I got FIFA 2004 yesterday for the PS2 and It's great

I've also got Club Football but I won't be buying PES3

play a lot of fifa, during months

and then try pes...

in fifa the goals are always the same, the game is too limited... the freedom of pes is superb!

i will play both one way or another but i think i will enjoy pro evolution 3 more

major disappointment about fifa football 2004 is the corner and free kick system which is annoying me out of frustration because it doesn't work very well

pro evolution 3 has got better player animation and better stadiums but the fans should look much better and it seems when u look at the fans they seem on a 1 narrow slope which wasn't designed very well but the gameplay is good

Really? How long did you try PES? Which version 1,2 or 3? Did you try the PC demo or PS2 version? If you tried the demo what kind of PC were you using?

See, if one tried FIFA on snail-paced PC with all kind of slowdown and compared it to PES on PS2, I believe one could come to the opposite conclusion as you did. Hardly a fair comparison.

Now if you tried the demo on less than recommended spec with slowdowns for less than 5 minutes than you are simply kidding youself. Why bother?

****ing in HELL none of you people appreciate REAL FOOTBALL if you did than pes3 is the only way to go i have been a football fan longer than youve been alive,and you lot mimicking all the time FIFA is the same every year more effort, little outcome,this year theyt have tried to make evolutionary changes,not gameplay changes(offball)etc........ i have both as i will always buy fifa to see what they produce BUT the fact is im always on pes3.

Don't wanna finger point but it sounds a lot like a new MOD in the FIFA forum... I've been so pissed by his defence and lame excuses that FIFA is better by not even writing in there anymore on how to make improvements to the game
