Preventing Scheduled Matches

Is it possible to prevent the game from rescheduling league matches when playing in the champions cup / euro cup, so you have your cup matches in the week and the league matches on the weekend?

A lot of my league matches that actually take place at the weekend are now scheduled in the middle of the week. It did happen that I played one CL match on tuesday and was to be playing the next league match on friday of the same week. I looked up some values in the db via tournament editor by DOCTOR but couldn't find anything helpful.

I agree the scheduling stinks. I am looking into this, but so far no luck in solving this, though. One minor improvement that is possible is removing overlap of domestic cup and champions league / europa league. I had one week where I played a league cup (tuesday) and a Europa League match (Thursday). I think I can fix this one overlap in schedule.txt file at least.

Thanks for your effort!
But I think there must be a way to solve this considering that you can change almost everything editing the files. Maybe there is some kind of specific schedule.txt included in the .bin Files.
