Pre-Merged Kits & Templates

I've had a go at one or two kits and been reasonably successful. Only problem is that it takes forever! I've got Paint Shop Pro 8 and I'm OK with the technical business of working with layers etc - it's just that my artistic skills are b*ll*cks and they always look as if they've been sewed together by an imbecile on the Special Brew. A while ago I downloaded some templates for kits which allowed you to overlay the basic textures with a variety of kit styles in the colours of your choice but I haven't seen anything like this since. Anyone found anything like this? Or any kit files at the pre-merge stage that could be modified?
