Almost dude, almost.

And to those who says we were lucky, you're behaving like Sveteca. It's only fault of your players that they didn't score more goals. We had 3 opportunities to score and changed them on 2 goals. We were effective...

I smell wave of negative rep for me (H)

And that is what football is about!

To quote Jon Dahl Tomasson from Denmark:
- We play much much better football than Sweden.. But, they score.

No. Ricardo saves your bacon. Make him a statue around your capital.

We pretty much have to win every match now.

Hey, hold your horses! RELAX, we're exactly in the same position we were before the game (because Finland and Serbia also drew), except we now can't afford to fail, our "margem de manobra" is thiner. Many people here are very oblivious to how qualifying works this time: the 2 (TWO) top teams qualify to the Euro automatically, there are no playoffs this time.

Let me repeat it: the top 2 teams!

Poland had a great result, they are almost certainly qualified, unless they start giving up silly points, but apart from that, everything's still open and we still are in a theorical better position that Serbia and Finland, as we have a better schedule.

We are now 2 points behind Finland and 4 behind Poland, with one game less. We HAVE to win against Serbia on wednesday, that's reality. But, if we do, we get 2nd place, 1 point ahead of Finland (and still having to play them here at home) and 4 ahead of Serbia, who would pretty much be eliminated. We would also be only 1 point behind Poland, who has a tougher schedule. So, as you can see, the ball still is on our side and we only depend of ourselves.

But, now is definitely the moment of truth. We HAVE to beat Serbia and I'll certainly be there at Alvalade supporting our team, helping it achieve its goal!

Yeah, Poland was lucky, Portugal deserved a win, actually they deserve to qualify automatically, they're that great. Seriously, play better next time, don't count on luck.
