Graphics Issue!

Hey all,

Firstly I apologise if a solution to this problem has already being posted somewhere else, but I have just spent the best part of the morning searching around various forums with little luck.

I have had this problem in the past, with previous PES games & PES 6 & managed to solve it, but can't fix it this time.

I have got a ATI Radeon 9800 graphics card. I have got the lastest drivers installed and have turned V Sync Off, Yet I stll get those distort horizontal lines across the screen. I tried other things, like changing the refresh rate and other settings, but they just don't seem to go away. They also seem to be worse when I play online.

Does anyone have this graphics card, and if so what settings to you apply in the Catalyst Centre? Or do they have any ideas on how to solve this problem. I am going to use Driver Cleaner when I get back home tonight to get rid of old drivers to see if that helps!

Any help on this would be most appreciated.

This is a known problem with Vista, which manages it's own v-sync rules (standard off). Maybe u can try the new catalyst 7.5 to see if they fixed it.

There is also an option in ATI Tray Tools to force v-sync in Vista, but it crashes when kitserver (all versions) is enabled with an appcrash.exe error.

I've got vista and am having the same problem. Unfortunately I don't understand the solutions you have suggested could you explain how I can do this?
