i need ur help..

i bought fifa2006, pc dvd rom version. everythin went well, i installed and everythin.

next comes e problem. i was at e menu page, where u have to select language, and the "options", jus keep running on its own at a very fast pace, and i couldnt even click on e language i wanted. by luck, i manage to select, english language. next select ur fav team, again same problems, eveythin is loading too fast. i cant even select e team, i want, e teams jus keeps skippin for one league to another...

pls help..wat i can do...i cant even select and pinpoint at e teams i wan..cos everythin is jus loadin way too fast..pls help!

i use alcohol120 to crack no cd for e game..

wats is e problem man..appreciate any help..

if you don't touch the keyboard, will every thing still load fast (like someone pressing ENTER ) ??

you say you use alcohol, does the same thing happen when you have the DVD in the drive and dont run through alcohol?

Can anyone help me plz, when I load the game everything goes so fast, I have a TOSHIBA QOSMIO F25 laptop, I live in Honduras and I bought the game in the US so I can't even return the game

Patch only fixes it for some users - far from all. It appears to be a keyboard related issue - certain USB keyboards have an IO issue causing the automatic menu scroll. As yet there's no clear fix for it. Some fix it by swapping keyboards to a PS2 keyboard. Others by swapping their USB controller and USB keyboard ports after running the game (can cause system crashes) and others by editing the registry name value for their keyboard.

It's basically another significant shortcoming in the coding/testing by EA as always happens with every FIFA game. Good things PES/WE are now available on the PC, eh? :boohoo:

Yes, tried the patch. No change. It's likely my Saitek USB gamers keyboard or its little add-on mouse pad that are causing the issue. I'll be damned if I'm going to bother pulling usb cables in and out just to get the game working, however. It'll sit on the shelf and remain uninstalled as of an hour ago. I'll stick with the far superior PES/WE series.

I had the same problem to fix this on my computer i had a USB phone when i unplugged this the game stoppped going mad. If you have anything plugged into the usb unplugg it and see what happens

Aye, if I unplug all usb devices (I have around 12 connected) I'm sure it'd work fine and I could play the game with the keyboard instead of my Nostromo gamepad or my PS2 Dual Shock pad ... but ... uh ... why would I want to? Sticking with PES and WE instead of this pile of junk that isn't tested prior to release and 'who cares if it doesn't work on huge %'s of system setups' ... EA ... bah.
