PES3 demo - official or unofficial?

Is the PES3 demo out at the moment officially endorsed by Konami, as i've not seen any links to the demo on their web sites.

The only reason i say is because i too am having performance issues with the actual match play. The menus work fine, but the game itself seems to run in slow motion.

I have XP Pro on an AMD 1200MHz PC with 320MB RAM. I have a GeForce4 MX 420 and have updated all the latest drivers and DirectX9b. I've even tried disabling antialiasing with the NVIDIA Media centre, but it made no difference.

I've read about Vsync too, but i'm not sure how to turn this off.

Will the full release of PES3 work with my PC spec or will i need to upgrade my video card? If so, what am i likely to have to spend in order to get it too work? (ie. whats the cheapest video card i can buy that will work sufficiently with PES3 and where can i buy online from?)

Many thanks.

PS. The Fifa 2004 demo works fine, no problems. I might have to resort to that if things turn out to be too expensive!!

all i can say, is that it seems to be the official demo released by konami, but, as u said, there's no presence of it in their websites..
me, too is having great probs with this game(ive got a geforce4 mx-->and i think thats the problem) and i hope that when the full game will be released, they'll fix everything..
in case geforce4 won't be optimized, ive heard that ati users didnt encounter too many problems,so maybe an ati card should fit well.
as for your hardware specifications, the game should be running smooth..but,the fact is always the same: we must wait for the full game and then see if they just made it better.. :)
i hope so,since this game rocks any other soccer simulation(if ever has there been one :o )

cheers,m8

I really don't think it's official because it has almost everything from the full game in the files. All that's missing is the commentary and a few other things which theoretically could be stripped from the PS2 version and added.

I don't think Konami would release a demo that could be modded to almost a full version. All the uniforms and teams are in there.

It does say "DEMO" in big red letters on the title screen so you know somebody at Konami worked on it.

But, not sure it was meant to be released in public.

Just to testers or promotion pruposes... I believe.
