Of course many games are also on the PC. 360 and PC go hand in hand and they made it that way! The important thing is that those great games aren't on the Wii or PS3! With exclusives such as Bioshock, Mass Effect, Forza 2, Halo3, and the rest to come, as far as consoles go, 360 wins hands down. As for Xbox Live, it costs $5 a month!!!!! For great service. If you don't want to pay it cause you think it's too expensive, that's sad. I started playing the 5 vs. 5 online in Fifa and it is truly a great addition and very evolutionary:shades: on EA's part. PES? No thanks. No last gen for me...well, except Half Life 2 on the Orange Box (which PS3 doesn't have either:clapwap:)
Bioshock is hardly an exclusive, when it is on PC. Forza 2 is a poor mans Gran Turismo and as far as the 360 winning the console war, lol, seriously. Didn't you hear? the Wii is leading and it has far more exclusives than the 360.

Paying for the xbox live makes you a sucker in my eyes and defending it make you an xbot:P
I pay my ISP for internet, why would i pay a greedy company like Micro$oft aditional money to get uhmm well internet access?
That seems pretty stupid to me.
I will take my free PSN instead and to be honest i could care less for achievements anyway:).
Oh, and i don't have to worry about the RROD either, which is nice.
By the way, Orange box is comming to ps3 but really, why would i get exited for a several years old FPS?
FPS belongs on the Pc or Wii, not 360 or ps3 again in my oppinion.

I see from your posting location that you are in USA so i am thinking that perhaps you are unaware that the 360 isn't selling no where near the amounts in europe or japan as it is in usa. Maybe this is why you are declaring the 360 the winner?
Because it most certainly hasn't won anything yet. The ps3 has some major exclusives still to be released like MSG, Gran Turismo and Uncharted, which might boost sales yet.

Fifa 08 next gen? hardly.
While it may be more polished and realistic than ever, there is nothing revolutionary that qualifies as next gen imo. It is simply an upgrade, a very good one, but an upgrade nonetheless. As i have said earlier, PES vs Fifa this year is a matter of taste because realism doesn't always equal fun, which is what really matters here

Wii is for kids, PS3 has no games, forza is awesome, 360 is the only console that has gears of war (goty last year), bioshock, etc. Live is $5 a month. To you its alot but I have a very good job so its no sweat. I'm not a sucker. That comment lacks logic. If you can afford a mercedes does that make you a sucker? As for PSN, it is not a social network like live, nowhere near! Yes, Wii owns in sales and mass appeal. Great job to Nintendo. Really, Wii is in a different category. As for the PS3 , it has squat to show for itself. Little games, most cross platform games run smoother on the 360 (fact pointed out by reviews) like ea sports titles running at 30 fps instead of 360's 60 fps (fact). Look at gamespot, and gamepros comparisons in the archives.

P.S - Interista, youre not worth a squirt of p!!!ss

The ps3 has no games?
Uhmm ok, whatever you say, lol.

Let us try this again. FPS don't belong on consoles, they play much better on PC and the only exclusive the 360 has is Halo 3, which is mediocre compared to Bioshock or CoD4 in my oppinion.

While i am sure you are a millionaire with a model wife;), it is pretty irrelevant as far as paying for live goes. This is a matter of Micro$oft charging you money for something you are already paying another company for, internet access. If you can't see why that is retarded you are indeed an xbot. Also, your attempt at logic fails as you have completely missed the point.

As far as PSN not being a social network like live (whatever that is), have you heard about a little thing called Home?
I know it is not released yet but the beta is coming soon.

While it is true that most crossplatform games used to run better on the 360, it is certainly not the case anymore, as the developers get better on the new platform. Check the reviews of Cod4 and Assassin's Creed if you don't believe me. Also, using EA as an example is ridicolous. EA has publicly announced that they gave the 360 games top priority over the ps3, gee i wonder why their games runs better on the 360. By the way, isn't the EA boss a former Micro$oft employee? i seem to remember reading that somewhere.

Atleast you now admit that the Wii is leading, proving your initial statement of the 360 winning the war wrong. As far as the 360 vs ps3 goes, it is still early days and declaring a winner now seems rather stupid in my oppinion but then again, i am not a fanboy:P

So what is basically comes down to again is taste.
If you prefer Fifa 08 on your 360, go for it. Have fun because that is what it is about. I will enjoy PES2008 on PC instead, because i find that game more fun. I also like the ps3 and wii better than the 360 but that doesn't really take anything away from your fun does it?

Facts: 360 has many more games than Wii, PS3, more CONSOLE EXCLUSIVES, an outstanding Online service ($5 a month, c'mon!) I understand for kids it may be expensive although all you have to do is limit your weekly weed stash of $20 to $15, presto!, and FPS's are excellent on the 360. The controller is perfect for FPS. COD 4 is as good as it gets for FPS's. About them not belonging on consoles is ridiculous. Home isn't even out yet, etc, etc. It's all about the games and at the moment, the 360 has it, by a long shot. PS3's exclusives have been something of a failure (Lair anyone?) Wii is great, caters to a different crowd. It's cheap and easy pick up and play satisfies casual gamers. Great job by Nintendo. Now, I hope PS3 shapes up, perhaps I'd buy one down the road, when it's cheaper and it has good exclusives, but for now? I am super happy that I bought the 360. PS3 owners salivate at the CONSOLE EXCLUSIVE titles 360 has. Bioshock, Gears of War, Dead Rising, Forza 2, Halo 3, The Orange Box, and future ones like Mass Effect, Alan Wake, all Splinter Cell games from now on, etc... Meanwhile PS3 has Lair and Heavenly Sword and Warhawk. 2 out of 3 lived nowhere near the expectations (fact). At least you can watch blue ray movies!

P.S - Anyone telling me the PS3 is a success so far is lying through their teeth. The whole marketing and production strategy backfired big time and its the reason many execs at Sony got the axe earlier this year (fact). You can't predict the future either so so far, it's a dud.

Ok, first of, please read this
Since you like to throw the word around a lot, you should know what it means. You can thank me later.

Console exclusives? lol? are you kidding?
Look, a game is either an exclusive or not. There is nothing more to it and since half of the 360 games are on PC aswell, they are not exclusives, putting the Wii clear ahead as far as real exclusives go. Even if you do count the PC games, the Wii is catching up fast and even now it is outselling the 360.

Next is your little gem about the 360 controller. Am i to understand that you are arguing that the 360 controller works just as well as a keyboard/mouse for FPS games?
Lol...yeah...right...sure, if you say so:rolleyes:

While Home isn't out yet, it is still something new and innovating. What exactly, besides achievements and in game messaging (which are both coming to the PSN soon btw), makes live so much better than the PSN?
And you still haven't argued why paying Micro$oft money each month for internet access makes sense, except with immature comments about your imaginative job and poor attempts at logic. But hey, i understand why you mentioned weed. You need something to do while your 360 is being repaired because of overheating;)

Also, i am still waiting for your answer on ps3 crossplatform performance surpassing the 360 in some of the newest games. How do you explain that one?

It is funny how you only mention 3 exclusives for the ps3 (how did heavenly sword flop by the way?), conveniently forgetting the likes of Ratchet and Clank, Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Uncharted. Yeah, you most certainly aren't biased at all:rolleyes:

I think it is great that you are enjoying your 360 and Fifa 08:). What i don't understand is why you can't accept that other people find another game or platform more fun. Does it really diminish your fun to know that not everyone likes the 360 or Fifa?

Simple, You may pay for an isp but should third party service and products be free because of that? As far as I know, Cox, Time Warner, etc. don't belong to Microsoft! Should shopping online be free since you pay the isp fee already? OK, your point there is mute. Secondly, Xbox is made by Microsoft so hy wouldn't the games be on the PC's which run on MS Operating systems???? Many people dont game on PC's for many reasons (i.e: updating graphic cards, configurations, lack of a powerful pc to run some games smoothly, price) Many people prefer plug and play and its the reason why consoles are so alive nowadays. I for one own a Mac which is for my work and have the 360 for play! PC's? Im not a fan of Microsoft operating systems, prefer Mac OS's, especially for my line of work. Finally, it doesn't take a rich person to afford $5 a month! I have a good job, not rich by any means but can easily afford it and then some so, bottomline is, you get it if you want, no one forces you to. As for the PS3, it promised so much and hasn't delivered. In the future, who knows? As of now, PS3 is a failure and many people , even Sony fans admit to it. This you cant deny.

The obvious irony of you disliking Micro$oft OS and having a 360 aside, thank you for answering but again i disagree.
I don't know what exactly you mean by shopping online, but here in denmark we don't pay any extra fees for shopping online, we only pay for the item we're buying. If by shopping online you mean paying for the actual item, then it is a very bad comparison.
If i buy a tv online, naturally i am going to pay for it but how does that compare to using live to access online play?
For years and years online play has been free with the exception of MMOs and suddently microsoft wants to charge money for accessing the internet?
I don't think so, atleast not for me. More so now that Sony has proved that it can be done for free.

No, it doesn't take a rich person to pay 5$ a month, but that is completely besides the point. The point being that Micro$oft is charging money for something that should be free.

As for your reason for having a 360 instead of a pc, i completely understand. I have a great gaming pc so i prefer my consoles to have a library with games i can't get on pc. That is why i prefer ps3 and wii, but i can absolutely respect your reasons for having a 360. That doesn't make the shared PC and 360 games exclusives though. So i don't need a 360 to play pretty much all of the titles i want in it's library. Not everyone has a console for the same reasons so what is great for you might not be great for me.

I most certainly can deny that the ps3 is a failure. What i can't deny is that the 360 is ahead in exclusives and sales but how does that mean the ps3 has failed?
The 360 has been out a lot longer and with hardware very similar to a pc it has been easy to develop for it. However developers are getting to know the ps3 better now and it shows. Assassin's Creed is one example of a crossplatform game where the ps3 has a better framerate and several developers has stated that they now realise the potential of the ps3.
Not only that, but the blue ray gives the ps3 an advantage in terms of content. Also, some great exclusives are being released like Uncharted, which has received some good initial reviews and then i haven't even mentioned the real system sellers which are being released next year, games like Metal Gear Solid and Gran Turismo 5. Maybe Haze will be a success aswell, who knows.
Considering these points, i definately don't see ps3 as a failure and as a gamer i want every system to have success because variety and competition will benefit the gamers in the end with great games

Well, I certainly hope the PS3 lives up to hype soon. I myself consider the PS2 my favorite console, pound for pound so I have no gripes with Sony but objectively see SONY's plans for the PS3 as an initial failure. Maybe now, they are coming around but they had a miserable launch plan (they admitted this themselves) and made some poor choices. Believe me, the SONY execs did not see themselves in this position at this time. As for Blu Ray, in theory, it's a good idea but #1, No one is going to fill up all layers of the blu ray disc, it would spike production costs and inevitably mean higher prices for the consumer. #2, SONY's formats have had a very poor track record, pedigree. Case in point? UMD, MiniDisc,Betamax! #3, HD DVD looked dead in the water until major studios started to support it. With its production costs way lower. Not to mention, for the most part, there are way more special features on HD DVD's than Blue Ray. That's fact. SONY is very ambitious but there plans are not going accordingly and it's clear to see this. As for online service, what you pay your isp provider is paid in order to log on and be connected, to travel the www. Xbox Live is a service that allows you to connect, communicate and play with others in THEIR COMMUNITY. There's a big difference. It's Xbox's Network not Time Warner Cable network or Cox Communications Internet network! Same as lets say, you paying a pro imaging eportfolio site for bandwidth and functions, etc. It's very clear. Now, if you refuse to pay it, fine. No problem. No ones forcing you to and no, why does it have to be free? Why? I personally get every cent of the $5 a month and then some. Playing, talking with friends, etc. is priceless especially since I just moved and I can communicate and play with them with ease. My experiences on Live are excellent. Very lag free and stable, at least in my year and a half on it. I may be wrong, but you come across as the rebel! The type that fights huge corporations like Starbucks and MS and wear Che Guevara shirts. Wanna fight "The Man" fine, have fun. You probably do it out of principle? Who knows? I personally don't like MS Windows software, never owned the first Xbox and really debated about getting the 360 but now I am happy. Been playing great games on it since it came out. In the end, the 360 has a bigger and better game library than the PS3 (sorry, mathematically, this can't be denied:shades:), period. The games make the system. What the future holds? One can only SPECULATE

Ok, i see where you are coming from now:)
It's just that your earlier post made me think you were an xbot, but i can see that is not the case.

As for the blue ray/HD DVD, yeah Sony needs the support of the movie industry, as does Micro$oft. It seems that it is a tie at the moment.

I still don't get why you want to pay for something that should be free, in my oppinion. To me, that is the typical Micro$oft modus operandi. Take something that someone else offers as free, change a few bits and pieces and charge money for it. Yeah, 5$ isn't much but it is a matter of principle for me. Maybe it is the rebel in me;)
I don't have the che guevara shirt and starbucks are only starting to move in on denmark but you are somewhat right.
I dislike how Micro$oft tries to monopolize every market it enters, because i believe that competition benefits the customer in the end. You said yourself that you dislike Windows and i completely agree.
However, if you want to play most current PC games you need Windows and it seems to me that Micro$oft is digging deep in their pockets to try and do the same on consoles.
To be fair, i don't really think Sony are that much better but atleast i have known and loved their products for years, something which i can't say with Micro$oft.
Nintendo seems like a company that cares for gaming. They have incredible games to their name and they are also trying to innovate instead of upgrading. I like that. So i am cheering for Sony and Nintendo, atleast to the point where we have competition, which is good, instead of a war, which is bad in my oppinion

P.S - About Forza Motorsport 2 being a poor mans Grand Turismo! Look at this link:http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages4/932731.asp
GT doesn't even have :confused:collision physics!!!!

Gameranking rates GT1 95%
GT2 92.5%
GT3 94.3%
GT4 89.1%
so i don't really see Forza winning soon and besides, it's all in the handling;)

The missing collision physics are because of licenses, as i understand it. Apparently some of the car manufacturers didn't want their cars associated with a game where they could be damaged. Atleast that is how i was told it is

You are right about Nintendo, yes GT is a great game. I had A Spec for the PS2. Forza averages a 90% so it definately is up there w/ GT. I think the handling is excellent and varies realistically from car to car. The upgrade system in Forza is amazing. From Drivetrains, rims, exhaust systems to paint customizations. Talk about next gen! Look at these customizations you can do in Forza, really take a look, it's nothing short of amazing. Best customization implementation in games. and bare in mind, none of these designs are preloaded in Forza, it's all up to the individual: http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/forums/thread/1024051.aspx
Anyway, really no need in arguing. I go with the best product out for there (imo) and at the moment, as far as games go, 360 has it in quality and quantity. Consoles that is.
