Penalties

My players miss like 75 % of all the penalties which I found very annoying (for instance I was knocked out from the UEFA cup after playing 0-0 at home, and two of my players missed one penalty kick each - 1-0 would have been enough to send me through to the next round).

Does anyone have any tips on how to score more goals from the spot (I do have a couple of decent penalty takers, who should be able to score more)?

Assign players with high penalty and mental stats. That should do the trick.

I realized that my players (in Newry - Northern Ireland) were probably not that decent penalty kick takers after all. Since moving to Sheffield Utd I've had a lot more success from the spot...
