Penalties

I hate placing, I always miss a placement when under pressure!

I'm usually penalty taker #5 in the shootout (no pressure) and I just thump it as hard as possible with height. Not hit it over yet, can see that ending soon though

I always take it the way Danny Landzaat does.

Run real fast at first, suddenly slow down just before I hit the ball. The goalie will in most cases dive to a side.. and I place it in the opposite corner.

make sure you have some confidence before you step up.. without confidence you hve nothing...

usually i place it really hard in the air straight through the middle.. the goalie usually dives after i look and stare at one spot seriously...

Never in the three years that i have played have i ever taken any penalites, but i have won a few and as captain chosen the player that takes it. I have scored once off a rebounded penalty, when it hit the bar.

Unofficially though, when i lived in Chile when i was 10 we had a big school yard game and it was 20 or 30 boys of my year against 20 or 30 older boys, and i was kicked in the shin. They gave me the ball for the penalty and i nailed it in straight down the middle

ive never taken one in a proper game, but i hardly ever miss when taking them in training etc..

I've missed one penalty on a shoot-out when I was young. It was desicive aswell. Shot it over the bar Roby Baggio style.

The season before last I took my 1st penalty in the game itself actually. We have a regular penaltytaker on our team, but I was so determined to take the kick that I had earned myself that I said to him that I'll take it and I scored.

Ha it actually hit me just now that the penalty a year ago was my 1st during the match. hmmmm WOW.

i always side foot it with power and try to get in in the bottom of any corner its one of the hardest places for the keeper like rvn really. my best mate missed a penalty in the county cup final it was soo bad he collapsed and didnt get over it for weeks it was his run up was weird he was soo disappointed as it was such a tight game and he could have one it, my other mate was in goal for their team and he did really well and my other mate let him down, penalty misses can be an awful thing especially if it goes miles wide

I always bash it really hard and I miss

Now my tactic is to chip the ball over the keeper after faking a shot

urm i took a penalty once for my club skied it
i never get to take for my school team becus they made me play left back
until this season but i was too low on the chopping block
never had to play to a penalty shoot out

but in my practice i shoot top right 4 out of 5 times i get it perfect un-reachable
