More importantly, it will run on mine . . .

Pentium III Coppermine 866mhz (the best pentium ever made)
    384mb RAM
    XP Pro
    DirectX 9.0C
    nVidia GeForce 2 MX 32mb

    (H)

And then when nVidia get around to releasing nForce 2 our socket 939 Athlon 64 system will thrash it!

    Oh look, I've gone cross-eyed :crazyboy: (H)

spec requirements are low although, recommended specs tend to vary, I'm guessing you'd need at least a 1Ghz to running it comfortably

click on the link above in short the specs are

    700 Mhz P3
128 mb ram (192 for win xp)
    32 mb graphics card..

which means if tcm 04 worked properly 99.9% even tcm 2005 should work because all the specs are the same except you need 100 MHz more than last time.

You don't really "need" 100mhz more, as more RAM would easily suffice, and EA give crap specifications. In theory the Sims 2 should not work properly on my computer, but it does.

To find out your specs, go to start -> control panel -> system -> hardware -> device manager, or download a program like CPU-Z (for your processor only), or SiSoft Sandra :)
