Uh, if you're running a game under emulation it isn't going to be faster. I've heard Cedega works ok for some older stuff but most stuff is problematic. If you prefer Linux, best thing to do is dual-boot and just use Windows for games.
Uh, Cedega isn't emulation. Because Linux and Windows actually run on the same platform (a PC), you don't need to emulate Windows in Linux, you can just use other software (not emulators) to
run Windows software in Linux. Sometimes, it
can run faster. The way it works is to have a load of DLLs that run on linux, and behave the same way as the standard ones on Windows. That way when a program tries to interact with them it will think it's interacting with Windows, when in fact, it's actually a collection of seperately-written DLLs and programs that map Windows and Micro$oft technologies to their Linux and Open-Source equivelants, e.g. DirectX instructios get translated to OpenGL, etc.
Because you don't have to deal with the overhead of actually running Windows, some Windows games can actually run faster under Cedega on Linux, because the computer has less to do.
Also, there's a chance that the Cedega DLLs are actually better written and more efficient than their Micro$oft counterparts. Of course, there's no way to prove this as the M$ ones are closed-source.
Not sure if PES6 works in Cedega, though. If it runs without problems, I might go back to linux - definately worth looking into!
