1.50 ghz , 504 MB of RAM
disk space 36 gb

is there problem with my laptop or is it the actual download

never had any problems when downloading demos like FM or FIFA

hope someone can help me out

best compare your RAM to that on the minimum system requirements first mate, that probs be why lol :P

I had the freeze to. Just right click on the PES2008 icon in your tray bar.. Close. Then it will ask "Do you really want to quit the install"? Choose no and the green meter will start running :)

it does not go on to my tray bar but it does go to Desktop any idea what i can do from there

may i know what settings i need to have on my laptop to play the game well example resolution etc? does any of that needs changing? thanks

right i downloaded my demo but when i click the pes2008demo.exe it will freeze after few minutes the select language screen pops up i click english but after that nothing happens and it freezez my pc! someone please help me would be appreciated!

something i want to know does Medium and High quality have more features then what low has? i play on Low and i think i am missing out some great features on this game i will get a ps3 but not yet so i decided until that i wil purchase this year pes2008 on pc , so what is the exact difference between Low / Medium and High is it alot of difference? or just a few if someone can tell me about each of them it would help me out , as i said i dont wana miss out on good stuff as i cannot go to medium or high due to my video card not matching with the pes2008 requirements and thanks.

Looks absolute **** on my PC, but then this is old. Apart from that, i dont see what you guys are on about with it being fast? If anything it's too slow.

Seems decent though.

Yes, you can change the demo resolution on settings.

For those who have problems with graphics, try this:

-Download and install REFORCE
-If you will play at 1280x1024, then use REFORCE to force 85hz refresh at this resolution. (the same for other resolutions)
-Use your videcard settings to force v-sync

Game goes much more smooth now. The replays and some cut scenes have minor slowdowns, but i guess that is the demo. In general, the gameplay is much better than the 360 version, almost for me, is not so fast, and it´s more simulator than the 360 version, that seems an arcade. Keeping in mind that you can edit this game a lot, i have it decided, fifa08 for 360, and pes2008 for pc. Faces are awesome, a preferd a lot the pc version than the 360 one of this game.

You expect an answer for that in a forum where the average member age is >16? :p

Its quite simple really, frame skipping means that you computer will skip frames it cannot draw (or isnt fast enough to draw)
V-sync is meant to prevent the "tearing" effect you see in games
Think of it as a way to sync the frames your gfx card draws with the monitor refresh rate.
Makes the game look more "laggy" if your computer cant run the game fast enough tho.

Upgrade tom. at last, upgrade. :(

Anyway, the gfx in this game from what I see from the pics are bellow par compared to other recent computer games.

I cannot assign the SPACE key in the settings menu to a control.
IN PES6 i couldn't either but there was a trick that doesn't work on PES08.
If somebody finds out how to choose it let me know.

i think you are looking for this:(i found in some other thread)
1) settings
2) keyboard tab
3) double click on some button you want to change (R1, R2...)
4) click and HOLD lmb on the "cancel"
5) while holding lmb on the "cancel", press SPACE on the keyboard
