PC DEMO first impressions

Just played 5 games, here a few thoughts.

-speed of a game way too fast, passing and shooting feels like throwing thunders

-running animations very weird especially when sprinting

-ball and crowd texture very bad

-gameplay wise very similar to pes 6, just more arcadish than pes6, most of the game carried out on the wings with way too much space

-faces excellent.


Overall utterly disappointed by the gameplay direction this game has taken. It might still be a lot of fun in multiplayer, but i hardly see any real football out there, just a lot of running on the wings.

Could someone tell me what teams are there in the demo? And what options are available?

- i hate this grainy grass

- i don't like the camera view where you just see a 1/10 of the field

- how do you switch players? i often have to watch everything because the game won't switch players, very annoying

- i like the gameplay

- players look great (faces, kits, lightning), everything around doesn't (grainy grass, crowd is a grey mass

- attacking is much too easy, too many goals on both sides

Try turning on vsync for the game speed mine is perfect for pace!

The grass and balls are all something that can be edited, so that doesn't bother me! Just glad to have a decent update! And what stars do you have the demo on?

Could you take screenshots of players like Riquelme, Messi, Tevez, Aimar, Ronaldinho, Robinho, Adriano, Veron? PLEASE?

And when you post them, could you tell me your system specs so that I relate the graphics level to your pc's capacity?

Maybe they made the game a bit easier to please a wider an younger crowd.

Dunno people, after so many years this "few tweaks here and there" versions are not very exciting anymore. It might be time for a year off.

I don't know the system specs of that guy, but his pc is obviously better than mine, and my graphics level is on medium, so these screenshots seem to be taken on a maximum detail level.

For all the players that aren't on those screenshots: wait until your download is completed and look for yourself, it's the best thing you can do!

i dont like the replays,the camera is too close at replays and is viewing the ball , pes6 replays were excellent

I just ran the demo on:

P4 2ghz
512ram
X700 128mb

Game defaulted to normal with frameskipping at 800x600. It ran fine.

However I decided to see what Low settings looked like, just fine IMO and it ran very smoothly (@1024x768). So it should be fine for you.

The demo has Low/Medium/High settings + Frameskip and Vsync options.

Low = PS 1.1>1.4
Medium=PS 2.0>
High=PS 3.0

Only problem is screen-tearing occurs for me regardless of vsync, same happened in PES6 but could be fixed by setting res to 1280x960.
